Chapter Six

I woke up the next morning and found myself in Jake's arms. I thought it had all been a dream until now. It really happened! I had even slept in his arms all night! How much crazier can this get?

"Good morning." He said startling me. "How did you sleep last night?"

"Perfectly fine...and you?"

"I slept great last night because I had you in my arms." He said as he tightened his grip around me like he had done yesterday. "Are you ready for me to fully explain everything to you?"

I nodded my head yes. I was actually very curious to find out more about what I am.

"Well then, let's go." He said sounding impatient.

"Wait...where are we going? What about the snow?"

"It's all good. Most of the snow already melted."

"Where are we going?" I asked unable to hide my curiosity.

"You'll see, but first you must freshen up a bit."

"But I don't have any clothes!"

"I'll get you some and leave them outside the bathroom door for you, unless you would rather shower with me and borrow some of my clothes...?"

"You're pushing your luck." I said teasingly as I pushed him away from me.

He pretended to look hurt and started pouting. I took pity of him and gave him a little peck on the lips. "That's all I get?"

"Yes, that is all you get until you finish explaining everything to me."

"Well then I'll have to hurry up and explain everything to you." He said winking at me which made me blush.

He left the room after leading me to his shower. I quickly jumped in and allowed myself to relax. When I was finished, I peeked outside the door and found a neat folded bundle of clothes. He had gone shopping while I was in the shower. He had got me underwear, a pair of red skinny jeans and a black, tight-fitting shirt. This was the total opposite of what I usually wore.

When I was dressed I walked out of the his room and into the living room. He was sitting on the couch playing with his phone. He looked up as soon as he heard me walk in. His eyes examined me from top to bottom before he spoke.

"You look beautiful." He said making me blush once again. I hated that he could make me blush so easily!

"Thanks...ummm...shall we get going?" I said in an attempt to hide my face which was probably as red as a tomato right now.

"Yes, let's go." And with that, he led me to his car.

The ride was long. I get carsick very easily so I slept most of the way here. We ended up in the middle of what seemed to be a forest. Why are we in a forest? I thought to myself.

"Because there is something I want to show you." He said. He obviously read my mind. I hated how he could read my mind but I couldn't read his.

"What is it that you want to show me?" I asked.

"Hold up..." He said and then began removing his clothes. Was he seriously stripping in front of me? Don't get me wrong, I loved what I was seeing. I just didn't know why he was doing it.

A few seconds passed and I saw that he was only his boxers. He started to remove those as well, but I looked away. It was going a little too far to see that. When I turned back around, I didn't see Jake anymore. I saw a large, dark brown wolf staring intently at me. It couldn't be! Is this...Jake? I looked deep into the wolf's eyes and I recognized immediately that they indeed belonged to Jake. How in the world did this happen?
