"Why are you here and not at the banquet?" tanong ni Walter sa dalawang biglang dumating dito sa kinatatayuan namin, we're just in the hallway almost near the banquet hall here in the second floor. This is the hallway na papunta sa emergency exit at sa mga balcony ng second floor.
"Why? Aren't we allowed here?" bored na sagot naman ni Charlize atsaka biglang lumapit sa akin.
"Why are you with Walter?" biglang bulong niya sa akin as she wrapped her hand around my arm.
"How about you, your highness?" biglang sabi naman ni Arlzen, "Aren't you supposed to be inside. I am sure everyone's already looking for you." he added, still looking at Walter.
"Well, you're right, I am just about to leave." Walter replied and suddenly glanced at me.
Ba't kailangan pang tumingin sa akin? atsaka tumingin rin siya kay Charlize, pero I can't tell what's inside his mind.
"Let's go, Kienjohn." seryosong sambit ni Walter kasabay nang biglang pag-alis niya.
I just confusedly watch him walking away. Literal na confused ako kasi hindi man lang nag-paalam? What suddenly is his problem?
"Hey, Dan." Arlzen suddenly said kaya naman ay napatingin ako sa kaniya, "Are you friends?" he just simply asked.
"Obviously, no." biglang sambit ni Charlize, napatingin naman ako sa kaniya dahil sa gulat. Siya ba ang tinatanong, akala ko ako? Bakit siya 'yung sumagot?
"Can't you see, Walter looks annoyed." Charlize added, napatingin naman ako sa dinaanan ni Walter because of what this girl said.
Huh? Walter? Annoyed? Ano namang kaiinisan non?
"Maybe he's annoyed because Daniel did something?" aniya ulit habang nakatingin pa sa akin, "What did you do? What did you say to him earlier? It is a good thing na dumating kami, who knows what that guy will do to you if you annoyed him more." sunod sunod na sabi niya.
Huh? Ano bang sinasabi ng babaeng 'to... Wala naman akong ginagawang masama...
"You seems talking about something earlier with Walter." Arlzen suddenly said kaya naman napatingin ako sa kaniya.
"Yeah, we were talking earlier. I don't know why are you thinking he is annoyed or something. He seem just fine to me, though." sabi ko naman which made Arlzen shrugged his shoulders.
"But he really looks annoyed!" seryosong sabi naman bigla ni Charlize at tinanggal pa ang pagkakapulupot ng kamay niya sa braso ko.
"I know him, you know! hindi niyo ba napansin? he suddenly walked away, hindi man lang nag excuse or what." then she pouted.
I just nodded, "Let's just not talk about him na. Maybe he's just tired." nag-kibit balikat pa ako. "So, why are you both here? And where's Jackson?" pag-iiba ko ng topic.
