CHAPTER 32

Working as the Crown Prince's secretary slash personal assistant is quite amazing and tiring. It's been months mula nong nag start akong mag trabaho sa kaniya as his secretary. A lot happened, but I won't really consider that any special. Because, I am still the Daniel everyone knew. I mean, at least, walang may naghihinala sa akin, no one still know about my real self.

"What time is it?" rinig kong biglang tanong ni Walter kaya naman napatingin agad ako sa pocket watch na palagi kong dala.

"It's already six o'clock, your highness." agad na sagot ko naman.

"Good, dumeretso na tayo sa Main Castle." sabi niya naman, tumango-tango nalang naman ako habang nakasunod lang sa kaniya.

Katatapos lang ng meeting na pinuntahan namin and then now may ibang lakad na naman kami.

Ibang klase rin ang energy nitong si Walter, he's been working all day, signing papers, attended meetings, and now kailangan niyang pumunta sa dinner with his family, the Empress asked for his presence so hindi pwedeng hindi siya pumunta.

I don't even know why I am still here, dapat sa oras na ito uuwi na ako sa amin. But well, hindi pa tapos ang trabaho niya so I still need to stick with him. And this is what I hated the most sa trabahong 'to.

Sighed. No choice, trabaho ko 'to. At least I am not working under my father or staying at home.

Kung pwede lang talagang bumalik ng Assylria, ginawa ko na. But I am sure, father won't allow me again. It'll be okay if vacation lang, but if I'll stay there for good? Nah, it will be a huge news and could backlash father's reputation na iniingat-ingatan niya. Tsk.

"Good evening, mother, father." Walter politely greeted his parents as soon as we arrived, and makasalubong namin sila sa hallway papunta sa dining room.

"Greetings, your majesty the Emperor and the Empress. It is an honor to be in your presence again." I politely bowed my head in front of them.

"Good to see you again, young count." the empress suddenly said, "You seems really working hard with the Crown Prince." dugtong niya habang tumatango pa.

"The young count seems really good in handling his work, which is good." sabi naman nong Emperor.

This is making me feel embarrassed, "Thank you, your majesty. It is just an honor to work with the Crown Prince. I'll work harder." I just politely said kahit na nakakahiya bakit ako ngayon 'yung pinaguusapan nila dito.

Natawa naman ang Emperor kaya nagtatakang napalingon naman ako kay Walter who's just chilling beside me, nakikinig lang siya habang ito ako na hotseat na.

"Why don't you join us, Daniel." biglang sabi ng Empress habang naglalakad papunta sa dining room.

"Yeah, you two, let's go." the Emperor said as he followed the Empress.

Napatingin naman ako ulit kay Walter, "Hoy, am I allowed to dine with Emperor and Empress?" bulong na tanong ko sa kaniya.
