Love is complicated.
Will I ever understand it?
I don't fall like a rock falls from the sky,
I fall like a tear falls from my eye.
Who knows where it will end up?
The wind can always pick it up.
It's slower to fall,
It's more beautiful, overall.
Twists and turns,
Gentleness and softness.
Love that burns,
Waiting with madness.
I don't fall in love just like that,
I fall in love with more.
Not just your face, or anything like that,
But with your soul.
I'm scared of the never,
But devoted to the forever.
I'm scared of what's before
But commited, forevermore.
And it's without realizing it,
That suddenly
I was on the edge of it,
Watching the drop before me.
And for the first time in my life,
I wondered if I should jump.
I wondered if I should dive,
And stop looking down, just to look up.
