A fallen angel

How could you do this to me?
Liar, snake, backstabber...
I never thought it would hurt so greatly
To be tortured by someone I saw as a sister.

Phantoms of my wounds still lie on my skin,
The ghostly feeling of my tears soak my blood stained arms.
I got stapled to the wall and invaded with pins,
As you looked into my eyes and told me you meant no harm.

So tell me why, when I see the ocean again,
Why, when I drown in your irises,
I wish to die right there and then.
I wish to forget the magic of this abyss.

It turned me into an arsonist,
And I needed to feel our love ignite and then burn to ashes.
You stole my sympathy like a larcenist.
And the flame consumed what you had left full of gashes.

Your quiet resentment overpowered my loss.
Your silent lies choked my truths until they were forgotten.
It's at my heart that your rage gnaws,
It's because of you that my soul has fallen.

You were my ride or die,
But I never thought you'd be the one to kill me.
I was bleeding myself dry,
But you took the last shot and watched me.

Watched me talk to a wall,
As I thought it had feelings.
Watched me scream as I fall,
As you broke down the ceilings.

I got crushed underneath,
I got suffocated by you.
You wanted to rip out my teeth,
You didn't want anyone to know what you do.

A fallen angel, is what you say,
As you found yourself on earth.
A rising demon, on your way,
To make me question my worth.
