It was a foreign touch,
But a familiar feeling.
A heart warming blush,
A heart breaking thing.I was doomed from the moment you grinned.
As soon as your hand met mine,
When your lips found my skin,
And I saw heaven before my time.I knew from the first wave on my shore.
I'm falling,
Like never before,
and never since.Slowly bringing me to my knees,
Sending chills up my spine,
And taking away my pleads
Because you were now mine.People are always thinking of the blame.
But what about the inspiration?
The hope that we would burst into flames.
Ones that would never die of desperation. And so, as your pen slides on paper,
And the words appear,
I can see it all waver,
I can see it all unravel here.I died.
You did too.
Even though we're terrified,
We hold each other's souls.Paper cuts never pained me so greatly.
And you still held me with your bloody hands.
I hurt you so badly.
And you still held my hand. You're mine.
I don't question it anymore.
It feels right this time.
And I hope it'll be forevermore.What I hadn't planned,
Is that I now realized I am yours.
Yours to ban,
Yours to throw out doors.Yours to kiss,
Yours to think of.
Yours to miss,
Yours to love.I'm simply yours.

PoetryIf there was a price in emotion, this book would cost it all... Our tears were melodies that made our feelings a symphony. My life flashed before my eyes. And I got to fall in love with you all over again. I'm fine. But that's a lie.
