The Dungeon

 Kazuma showed them his mansion. Aqua and Yunyun were so happy to see the mansion. They took different rooms in the mansion. Aqua and Yunyun enjoyed the bath. It was quite refreshing. Kazuma was making some dishes for all of them as well. After the bath, they enjoyed the meal Kazuma made. They appreciated him as a cook. Yuyun decided to take a nap in her room. Aqua and Kazuma were in the living room.

Kazuma "So, what are you doing here, Goddess Aqua? You are supposed to be in there, aren't you?"

Aqua "Oh, I am just bored sitting there all the time. I thought of coming down and doing some adventures just like you."

Kazuma "Were you watching me?"

Aqua "Yeah, I was. You got dumped by those girls, weren't you?"

Kazuma "Ahaa. That was a long story. So what's your plan here?"

Aqua: "Just chill and do some adventure with you, that's all."

Kazuma "Ho, is that so? I thought you were here to defeat the Demon King, who is causing trouble for your followers."

A moment of silence.

Aqua "So you figure it out, huh? Let me appreciate you, for one thing, Kazuma. You are quite smart and sharp at these kinds of things."

Kazuma "Thank you for your compliment. So, how are you planning to start your adventure?"

Aqua "There is a dungeon near this town. I am thinking of conquering it. And most importantly, we may find some treasure or something in there. What do you say, Kazuma?"

Kazuma "A dungeon... Okay, let's give it a try."

The next day, Kazuma, Aqua, and Yunyun embark on a quest to explore the dungeon. The guild warned them to be careful, as there were a lot of undead in that dungeon. Aqua told Kazuma that it wouldn't be a problem for her, as she could cleanse them with her power. Then they went to the dungeon in search of treasures. When he first saw it, Kazuma felt like it had been built by someone to test their abilities and all.

As they walked into the dungeon, it was dark. Kazuma used a skill named foresight, and he improved his vision in the dark. Upon moving further, they happened to sneakily hear voices from everywhere. It gave him skinwalker vibes, as if they were being watched. Then suddenly, a drop of liquid fell from the sealing of the dungeon into Yunyun's face. She looked up to see a gremlin staring right into her face. It jumped upon her, and all the others backed away. She holds off the Gremlin using her hands. It was about to bite her in the face, and then Kazuma cut off its head from behind. It was quite frightening for the first encounter.

They continued their exploration. After going in further, some of the Gremlins came from behind in packs. Then all of them started attacking at once. In that fight, Yunyun got a bite from one of them and got injured. Despite being bitten and pushed down by this Gremlin, Kazuma used his sword kills and foresight abilities to cut them off one by one. When they overwhelmed him, he used his winter spirit power to freeze them all, and he crushed them into pieces of ice crystals (like subzero). Yunyun used strong lightning magic to eliminate all of them.

Then they moved on. Yunyun marked the way through which they came in. On the way, they encountered the rotting body of an adventurer. They all spent a moment praying for his soul to rest in peace. Aqua uses her magic to cleanse him. They moved on and reached a junction, only to find out they were outnumbered by a large number of undead. They formed a circle, and the undead surrounded them. There were too many of them. Aqua started to chant while the other two protected her. Kazuma used his winter spirit powers to freeze half of them, and Yunyun used the bottomless abyss to pin them to the ground. Then one of the undead climbed on top of others and jumped over Yuyun, pointing its sword at her head. She was in no situation to move, and she thought that it was all over for her. Just then, Kazuma pushed her aside and took that thrust into his heart.

Yunyun's eyes couldn't believe it, but Aqua remained calm. Kazuma didn't give in. He used his ice magic to freeze that undead and turn it into a pile of ice crystals. He pulled out the sword from his heart. It did hurt him a lot. Just then, they observed that Kazuma's fatal wound healed on its own without a trace.

Yunyun: "What the... you can heal yourself?"

Aqua, with a smile "If I guess right, it must be the effect of the spirit power in you."

Yuyun, "Spirit power?"

Kazuma "The blood of the Winter Shogun, huh? Never expect such an effect. But it is quite handy."

Yuyun "That looks really cool to me. Anyway, how do you get his blood?"

Kazuma "That's kind of a long story. Please don't tell this to anyone. It's a request to you two."

Aqua: "Don't worry, Kazuma, your secret will be safe with us."

Yuyun "We are a team after all. We can't let our enemies know about this."

Kazuma " Thank you, I appreciate that."

Kazuma and his team moved forward. The number of undead keeps increasing as they go further. Aqua was a pro at eliminating all of them. Kazuma asked his team to stop and suggested a comeback later. He added that they are targeting Aqua. Her presence is attracting more of them. They saw Aqua as a threat and were trying to eliminate her. So Kazuma suggested that he come back later with a proper strategy. He also added that they don't know what is waiting for them at the end of the dungeon. Aqua told them that it would be all right. But Yunyun supported Kazuma's suggestion. So Aqua had no choice but to agree with the majority. 

With that said, Kazuma and his team went back to the town. Kazuma was thinking of a plan to meet the unexpected. On the way they stopped at a restaurant to eat something. It was the first time Aqua tasted bubbly and she immediately fell in love with it.
