𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐨. Model, actress, celebrity. At the age of 22 Gianna already has everything or at least that's what everyone thinks.
But in reality, her life couldn't be more of a mess. Where there's money there's alcohol, where there's pa...

If I thought watching Gianna's light disappear from her eyes back at the beach was hard, watching the way she suddenly put her protective wall back on the moment I told her I had nothing else to apologize for was soul-crushing. And telling her that lie, saying that dancing with her and taking that drink was all I regretted doing ripped me from the inside out.
What I wished I could have told her was that I wanted her as much as she wanted me, that in another life I wouldn't have thought about it twice. That I would have kissed her right there and then and I would have never let her go from that moment forward. But I couldn't, I was too much of a coward, I was too scared about the what-ifs. What if someone discovers us, what if Valentina discovers us? My uncle... he trusted me to do this, he put the money, his name, everything on the line for me. I can't fuck everything up with my first-ever client.
No matter how much I wanted that kiss to happen.
Fixing the collarbone of my shirt I look down at my new shoes. Nine hundred dollars were lost on the ocean yesterday night. How do I explain to my father that I lost his Prada shoes?
Today Gianna has the first photoshoot, five in the afternoon so in about three hours. It's not far from the hotel but LA traffic is hell, and totally unpredictable so I want to make sure we leave with enough time. Thankfully I heard her alarm go off not long after mine and I didn't have to call her. I had time to shower again, which was really necessary after last night, yet I still feel like I have sand in very ungodly places.
When I'm about to spray some cologne someone knocks at our door and then I hear Gianna.
"Russo! Mind answering the door? I ordered room service." She shouts from her bedroom.
"On my way!" I shout back, surprised by how normal our first interaction was. Maybe it won't be that awkward between us and we can get over this.
Getting out of my room I go towards the main door and open it. Finding like expected, a waiter with the room service Gianna ordered.
"Good morning, Sir." He greets me. "I believe Miss Marino called us for lunch."
"Good morning, and yes, she did, please come in." I allow him to pass and he nods before getting inside and leaving the cart by the sofas in the area Gianna and I share.
"Have a nice day, call if you need anything else." The man smiles politely and then gets out.
I have no idea if Gianna asked for lunch for me too but I hope so because whatever it is under those trays smells delicious and neither one of us had breakfast. We woke up pretty late.
"Did he leave?" Gianna asks still inside her room.
