DEV'S POV:
I was in the bedroom doing work on my laptop while sitting on the bed. The door opened and my mom walked inside and sat on the bed with her hands on my legs.
Mrs. Rajput: "what were you doing while we went to Sakshi's home?"
when I heard that a smile came on my lips, but I soon covered it with my same cold face and answered.
Dev: "Ghar pe"
She then hit me lightly on cheeks and chuckled while saying.
Mrs. Rajput: "Jhoot Toh ache se boliya kar"
Dev: "Maa..."
Mrs. Rajput: "Tu Sakshi se Milne Aya tha na?"
I nodded in defeat.
Mrs. Rajput: "Mujhe Pata tha meine Arav ko Sakshi ko lejate hue dekhata"
Dev: "Maa...Vo"
I tried to make an excuse.
Mrs. Rajput: "Usse itna pasand karta hai"
I was taken back by her question but later nodded with a smile.
Mrs. Rajput: "Koi toh pasand ayi tujhe"
I chuckled lightly.
Dev: "pata nahi ma mujhe vo kese pasand ayi kyu pasand ayi par pasand ayi toh sahi"
Mrs. Rajput: "My son is in love"
she sang and we both giggled together.
Mrs. Rajput: "Mujhe pata tha Sakshi hi sahi rehegi tere liye...vo ek bohot achi ladki hai Dev..usse kabhi naraz mat kar"
I nodded.
Dev: "apne achi ladki mere liye dhundi aur mujhe vo pasand bhi hai toh mein humesha uska dhyaan karhunga"
Mrs. Rajput: "Mere pyara bacha...Sakshi se pyaar karta hai tu?"
I thought for a while and her smiling face came to my mind. I smiled to myself and nodded.
Dev: "I love Sakshi mom"
she smiled at me and nodded.
Mrs. Rajput: "she is yours keep her happy and safe"
I nodded. We spoke for some time, and she left for going to sleep.
