A NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING 

DEV'S POV: 

I was driving back to home on my way I called Sakshi knowing she'll be awake. After a few rings she picked up the phone and her sweet voice was heard which took away all my tiredness and stress. I smiled while talking to her. 

Dev: "Jaan tum soyi toh nahi?" 

Sakshi: "nahi..aap?" 

Dev: "mein abhi office se wapas arah hun" 

Sakshi: "Dev itna late..bara baj rahe hai?" 

Dev: "shaadi se pehele mujhe kaam khatam karna tha" 

Sakshi: "par itna kya kaam tha apko?apne khana khaya?" 

Dev: "Nahi tum khilado" 

Sakshi: "mein kese?" 

Dev: "apne window se dekho" 

SAKSHI'S POV: 

I was laying on my bed and reading a book when I got a call from Dev. I started talking to him and got to know he was working this late and did not eat his dinner. he wanted me to feed him but how can I then he said to look out of my window. I got down from my bed and looked outside to see him in his car sitting. 

Sakshi: "Dev aap.." 

Dev: "ab jaldi neche aao aur mujhe khana khilao" 

Sakshi: "par koi dekhlega" 

Dev: "mein hu na jaan bas tum aao" 

Sakshi: "okay" 

I quietly and carefully got out of my house while tip toeing. I walked near his car, and he opened the door. I sat inside and closed the door. I saw he brought take out which had naan, dal makhni and gulab jamun. I looked at him and he smiled at me, I started feeding him. 

Sakshi: "apka din kese tha?" 

Dev: "Bohot kaam tha aaj par thik tha" 

Sakshi: "itna kaam bhi mat kijiye dev" 

I said while feeding him one more bite. He smiled and nodded then held my left hand close to his chest. 

Sakshi: "apka routine mujhe samaj nahi aata" 

Dev: "koi na tum kal akar change kar dena" 

I blushed. 

Sakshi: "Dev I am serious" 

Dev: "so am I sweetheart" 

I blushed once more. 

Sakshi: "kitne bure ho aap" 

Dev: "ab jesa hu tumhara hu Meri Jaan" 

I blushed once again because of him. I fed him his dinner and in 10 minutes he was done. I wiped his mouth and lips with my duppata. 

Sakshi: "kush?" 

He nodded while smiling like a kid. It made me smile back. We spoke for some time, mostly flirting with each other and him making me blush. 

Sakshi: "I should go" 

Dev: "come I will leave you till your door" 

I nodded and we got down, I held his hand till we reached my door. I looked at him. 

Sakshi: "bye good night" 

Dev: "kal milte Hai mandap pe...husband and wife ki Tarha" 

I smiled while nodding. but suddenly I felt an urge to do something, so I turned back and hugged him before going. before he could hug me back, I went away with red cheeks. the amount of confidence and courage I had to gain to do that. I quickly went in and locked the door and leaned on it with my heart beating fast.
