The cake arrived and Dev is still sleeping and even I didn't try to wake him up. I lit up the candles, the watch hit 12. I excitedly went inside the bedroom while singing Happy Birthday.
Sakshi: "Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you Dev, Happy Birthday to you"
I saw him opening his eyes and being shocked which made me smile.
Sakshi: "Happy Birthday Dev"
Dev: "Thank you baby, how did you know?"
Sakshi: "I'll tell you that later first blow the candles"
He nodded; we both held the cake in one of our hand while his left hand wrapped around my shoulder brining me closer. Together we blew the candles, he cut the cake while I sang for him and clapped my hands. He fed the first bite to me I did the same.
Dev: "Now tell me how you knew?"
Sakshi: "Arav and Ariya told me about it a day before our honeymoon"
Dev: "I see"
Sakshi: "They said you don't really celebrate your birthday"
Dev: "Yeah I do because it's just like any other day for me but a little special"
Sakshi: "Starting from this year we will together celebrate your and my birthday very nicely"
Dev: "I will because now I have someone special with me"
He hugged me and kissed my forehead. I smiled and hugged him tighter.
Dev: "Thank you for this love"
Sakshi: "it's fine"
I leaned in and kissed his lips. For the first time I made the first move which I am sure made him happy.
THE NEXT DAY
I woke up early in the morning and ordered Dev's favorite breakfast and got dressed in his favorite dress before I went to wake him up. I kissed his cheek and whispered in his ear.
Sakshi: "Dev...Uth jaiye"

I saw his fluttering his eyes before he finally opened them. I smiled at him and peaked his lips.
Sakshi: "Happy Birthday Baby"
Dev: "What did you say?"
Sakshi: "what?"
Dev: "what did you call me?"
Sakshi: "b-baby"
Dev: "I'm your baby?"
Sakshi: "you don't want to be mine?"
Dev: "I would love to Darling"
He said and pulled me closer by my waist, I sat on the bed with my hands on his chest, I blushed and looked down, playing with my fingers.
