CONTINUATION 

Dev's Look: 

Mrs. Rajput stopped Sakshi because there is a tradition where they take away all the evil eyes before starting the wedding. Mrs. Rajput took money and was about to do it but Dev stopped her and took the money in his hand and spoke. 

Dev: "Apni Laxmi Ki Nazar Mein Utharunga" 

Everyone hooted for him when he said, and Mr. Sharma was left speechless. Meanwhile Sakshi blushed when he said that but also felt very happy and fell more for him. He took the money and circled it around her 2 times and gave it away. He forwarded his hand for her to climb on the stage. She held his hand and came up. 

Dev: "Meri Akhein Taras Gayi Tumhe Dekhne Ke Liye" 

She blushed. 

Dev: "Bohot Khubsurat" 

she blushed once more and said...

Sakshi: "Aap Bhi Bohot ache lag Rahe ho" 

He smiled. Now it was time for Varmala. They handed garland to both of them and said them to start. It was first Dev's turn; he was trying to put it around her neck, but Sakshi's cousins were pulling her back not allowing him to put it. after lot of tries he finally was able to put it. Everyone clapped and cheered for him. Now it was Sakshi's turn before she could even do anything Dev bent down and came on his one knee in front of her. It shocked everyone and then cheers were heard. Sakshi smiled and put it around his neck. He got up and held her to him and kissed her forehead in front of everyone.

Arav: "Bhai in his lover boy era" 

Ariya: "I never expected Bhai can be this romantic." 

LATER: 

After the photo session and meeting the guests the wedding rituals began. Sakshi and Dev sat in front of the holy fire opposite the priest. He began chanting the mantra's and told Dev and Sakshi to hold their and hands and put what he says into the fire. It was time for Kanyadaan and Sakshi's parents came forward, the rituals started, and Mr. Sharma forwarded a tray which is filled with money in front of him. 

Dev: "What is this Mr. Sharma?" 

Mr. Sharma: "It's a ritual beta I have to give you this along with my daughter" 

Dev: "I am sorry I don't take dowry" 

Mr. Sharma: "But Dev beta it's a custom" 

Dev: "I only want Sakshi with me not money...I am marrying because I want Sakshi not because I want money...please don't give me this or else I won't continue further" 

Mr. Rajput: "Bhai Sahab please" 

He joints his hands in front of him. Mr. Sharma nodded and stopped the dowry ritual. Sakshi was impressed by his kind actions. he looked at her and raised his eyebrows she nodded as no and smiled at him. it was now time for Pheras. Ariya came forward and tied the knot. Sakshi and Dev got up and held their pinkies together and did 7 rounds around the holy fire. after wards when it was done, they sat down, and Dev was told to tie the Mangal Sutra around Sakshi's neck. He took it from the plate and came forward to tie it around her neck, he did it and everyone clapped, the last ritual was to apply Sindoor in the partition of Sakshi's hair. He took some in between in his fingers and applied it between her hair and she closed her eyes, some also fell on her nose which meant he loves her a lot. Everyone clapped and Dev kissed Sakshi's forehead. 

Dev: "Congratulations Mrs. Sakshi Dev Rajput" 

She smiled and giggled. They got up from the mandap and now it was time to eat. All the family members sat down, and food was served. Dev fed his first bite to Sakshi and Sakshi did the same.  Everyone began eating and when they were done it was time to go. Sakshi reached near the car with her dad beside her, she hugged them and bid goodbyes and shared loved words. She was going to sit inside but turned around and hugged her dad once more and started crying. Sakshi was attached to her dad a lot more than her mom. Dev left sad seeing her cry for the first time, after a few seconds her dad kissed her forehead and spoke. 

Mr. Sharma: "Apna Dhyaan Rakna" 

she nodded with a small smile and sat inside the car. Dev got in from the other side but before going her dad said to him.

Mr. Sharma: "please take care of her... she's the only expensive thing I have, I cherished her for my whole life and now I am giving her to you...please Dev" 

Dev: "She is now my responsibility I promise to take care of her, and I'll love her more than anything and she will always be my first priority " 

He assured him and smiled. Her dad nodded and bid them goodbye.  While sitting inside the car Dev noticed Sakshi was a little sad. He held her hand and kissed it. 

Dev: "Meri Jaan, I know you are sad but don't worry after this you'll never be sad or shed a single tear...I promise" 

she smiled at him and said...

Sakshi: "Aap ho mere pass phir  mujhe aur Kya chahiye" 

she said and rested her head on his shoulder. He felt so happy when she said that he felt like the won the world all over again. He smiled and internally screamed out of happiness and rested his head on top of Her.
