At Night: 

SAKSHI'S POV: 

I came to my room after doing work, I was about to go to the washroom when my phone began ringing on the bed. I quickly went to pick it up I saw the caller id and picked it up with happiness. 

Sakshi: "Hello Dev" 

Dev: "Meri Jaan" 

I blushed hearing his voice. 

Dev: "I miss you already, how will these days pass?" 

I chuckled. 

Sakshi: "Aap ne hi Toh mujhe kaha ki bass Thode din ki baat Hai" 

He chuckled from the other side. 

Dev: "Yeah just a few days until your all mine again" 

I smiled with blush on my cheeks. 

Sakshi: "Did you land safely?" 

Dev: "Yes, I'm currently heading to my hotel" 

Sakshi: "Did you eat something?" 

Dev: "No..I was busy with work on the flight, I'll have something in my room"

Sakshi: "Okay...Take care of yourself" 

Dev: "I will Sweetheart" 

For few seconds we did not speak a word. 

Dev: "Alright Babygirl I have reached; I'll call you later" 

Sakshi: "Okay bye" 

Dev: "Bye..I love you Sakshi" 

Sakshi: "I love you too Dev" 

He then cut the call. I smiled and layed on the bed thinking about him while blushing and giggling for no reason. 

2 Days Later: 

Still Sakshi's Pov: 

I was sleeping peacefully until I felt nauseous, I quickly got up and went to bathroom. I threw up and coughed. After 5 minutes I came back and sat on the bed. 

Sakshi: "Why do I feel so dizzy? and weird?" 

I checked my temperature, but it was all normal. I think I'll go and visit the doctor I feel really uneasy, just then something clicked my mind. 

Sakshi: "My period?" 

I checked my phone calendar about my period date and I'm realizing now that it's late for about 1 week. How come I didn't notice it?

Sakshi: "Am I pregnant?" 

That clicked my mind and I felt speechless and a little scared. 

Sakshi: "No no I can't make my own predictions I should just go and meet the doctor" 

I quickly took a shower then wore simple but good-looking clothes, did my everyday makeup and went downstairs. I greeted everyone then helped Preeti in making breakfast I thought of sharing it with her but then thought I'll confirm it first then reveal. After having breakfast, I made an excuse for going to the doctor then sat in the car and went to the nearest hospital. 

Sakshi: "Hello, where can I meet an Obstetrician doctor?" 

{An obstetrician-gynecologist (OB/GYN) is a medical professional who specializes in caring for pregnant women and delivering babies}

I asked the receptionist. 

R: "Hello mam, you can meet Dr. Priya on 4th floor she's free now" 

I thanked her and went to 4th floor. I knocked the door and went in to meet a pretty looking women who probably is in her mid-twenties. She smiled while greeting me I greeted her back and sat down. 

Dr. Priya: "How can I help you mam?" 

Sakshi: "Hello, my name is Sakshi actually this morning I threw up and felt dizzy since then I also checked that I missed my period date" 

Dr. Priya: "Okay Sakshi, I get your problem I'll do a few tests and then tell you the results" 

I nodded. She did few tests which included urine test also and asked me to wait for 30 minutes for the results. I sat outside her cabin very nervous. I'm scared for Dev's reaction the whole family will obviously be happy but what about him? His answer and reaction matters the most to me. While waiting I got a call from him, I picked it up. 

Dev: "Hello Sakshi" 

Sakshi: "Hi Dev" 

Dev: "How are you baby?" 

Sakshi: "I'm fine, how are you? did you wake up just now?" 

Dev: "Yeah few minutes ago" 

Sakshi: "How was work?" 

Dev: "Good, our deal is final, but few small issues are there which needs to be solved" 

Sakshi: "Oh..It's okay I know you'll handle them perfectly" 

I heard him chuckle. 

Dev: "You trust me that much?" 

Sakshi: "More than myself and anyone else" 

Dev: "I love you baby" 

Sakshi: "I love you too" 

Dev: "Where you at?" 

I got nervous from his answer, but I quickly came up with an excuse. 

Sakshi: "I-I'm at home only in our room" 

Dev: "Ohh..okay love, I'll go now I need to fresh up and get back to work" 

Sakshi: "Okay bye take care" 

Dev: "You too baby" 

He said and cut the call just then a nurse came and said Dr. Priya is calling me in. I got up and went inside. 

Sakshi: "What are the results Doctor?" 

Dr. Priya: "You're pregnant Mrs. Sakshi" 

My eyes widen hearing it, I couldn't believe what I just heard. I'm going to be a mom, me and Dev are going to be parents. 

Sakshi: "Really? How many weeks?" 

Dr. Priya: "Not weeks but 3 days...Congratulations" 

Sakshi: "Thank you...I still can't believe" 

Dr. Priya: "Yeah you're quite young but your body is all healthy in a good condition, make sure it stays this way for the upcoming 9 months" 

I nodded. She told me few important things and when I need to come for checkup and all. After few minutes I was coming back home, I felt weird I didn't know how to express this feeling. I was really happy I'm finally going to be a mom which I always dreamt of. I hope Dev will feel happy like how I do. I reached home and went to my room very excitedly. Few minutes later I heard a knock on the door I opened the door and saw Preeti. 

Preeti: "Bhabhi come downstairs the dinner is ready" 

Sakshi: "Preeti I'm soo happy today" 

I held her hands and we both swinged around. 

Preeti: "Why? what happened?" 

Sakshi: "You promise to not tell anyone?" 

she promised I closed the door and said her slowly. 

Sakshi: "I am Pregnant Preeti" 

Her eyes widen when she heard it. 

Preeti: "Really Bhabhi? your pregnant?" 

I nodded with a smile. She hugged me tightly not believing at all. 

Preeti: "I'm so happy for you Bhabhi I'm going to be a Chachi soon and Arav will become Chachu" 

I nodded.
