He smiled in happiness and victory. They walked forward and Dev pulled out a chair for her.
Dev: "A little date for the two of us"
Sakshi: "You're amazing, thank you for all this"
Dev: "It's your birthday love, you deserve it"
He held her hand and smiled while looking into her eyes deeply.
Sakshi: "I love you, I'm so happy I married a man like you"
He just chuckled and kissed the back of her hand.
Dev: "I love you too baby"
The began sipping wine with their pasta on the side, talking, laughing, flirting.
Dev: "Baby let's cut the cake"
she nodded, he got up and brought a box from the car then kept it Infront of her.

Sakshi: "Aww it's so cute"
she hugged him.
Dev: "Blue cause it's your favorite color"
They held the knife and cut the cake together with Dev singing cutely for her, with smiles and giggles on their faces, they were the happiest people in the world right now.
Dev: "Happy birthday baby, I love you so much, meri Jaan ho aap"
Sakshi: "Aap Bhi meri Jaan ho Dev, I love you too"
They chuckled together then kissed under the moonlight. After the cute little candlelight dinner, they just held hands and walked near a bridge with no one around.
Sakshi: "Mein ne Apke birthday ke liya itna kuch nahi kiya toh apne kyu kiya itna sab kuch?"
Dev: "You're the most special gift I got from god more what do I need?"
She smiled softly then leaned onto him while he kissed the top of her head.
Dev "You gave yourself to me, confessed the love which you hold for me what else do I need?"
Sakshi: "Aap itne ache kyu ho Dev?"
Dev: "Pata nahi mein acha hu ya tum itni pyaari hoki mujhe ghussa karne ka maan nahi hota"
she giggled and kissed his cheek.
Dev: "To be honest I never thought arrange marriages would work! I had no hope of love or falling in love with someone in my life, but you proved me wrong! I really love you a lot, Sakshi never leave me, I'm nothing without you my love"
Sakshi: "You are very important to me Dev; I can never think of leaving you now"
Dev: "Just like today, we will spend the rest of our birthdays and anniversaries together with love..forever"
She nodded with a small smile on her lips.
The Next Day:
Today was the day when Dev was leaving for New York, He placed his bags in the back of the car while Sakshi stood there looking sad.
Dev: "What happened baby?"
She looked up at him and nodded as a no with a smile.
Dev: "You look sad"
Sakshi: "If my husband is leaving for a 1-week business trip do you expect me to be happy?"
He chuckled.
Dev: "But you know most of the wives be happy"
Sakshi: "But I'm not one of them"
Dev: "Aww"
He hugged her & kissed her.
Dev: "I promised you right that after this all of my time is only Sakshi Dev Rajput's"
she nodded.
Dev: "Bare it for a few days hm?"
she nodded once more; he kissed her lips before they went and sat inside to leave for the airport. On the way Sakshi rested her head on his shoulder, clutching tight on his arm. In a while they reached and saw their family standing there waiting for them.
Mrs. Rajput: "So Dev had fun spending time with Sakshi?"
He looked at her then nodded facing his mom with a smile.
Arav: "Bhai you have 15 minutes left"
He nodded then hugged all his family members and they told him to be safe and have a good flight. Now Sakshi was left at the last. He looked into her eyes which were sad and a little moist. He then looked at his family.
Mrs. Rajput: "Hum Kuch Nahi dekhenge tum Dono karo Apna"
they all turned around, and their back was facing to the two of them. Dev chuckled and looked at his wife who was already staring at him.
Dev: "Apna dhiyaan rakna hm?"
Sakshi: "Aap bhi aur mujhe phone kariye"
He nodded tucking a hair strand behind her ear admiring her.
Dev: "I'll have to leave now baby; I love you always"
He kissed her forehead.
Sakshi: "Have a safe flight and call me when you land there"
He nodded then lifted up her chin before smashing his lips on her for one last time before he leaves, they kissed for a minute before pulling away, Sakshi had slight tears in her eyes.
Dev: "I love you Jaan"
The rest of then turned around.
Dev: "Bye guys"
He waved at them then turned towards Sakshi to hug her. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly for the last time. While she wrapped her hands around his waist burying her face in his chest.

Dev: "I love you, Sakshi"
He pulled away but something pulled him back and Sakshi closer to him. They both looked down to see her Mangal sutra got stuck in his shirt button. The family members were in awe seeing the most beautiful scene.
Mrs. Rajput: "Even destiny doesn't want them to get separated"
They looked into each other's eyes before Dev untangled it from his button.
Dev: "I'll leave now"
He turned around and left. Sakshi waved at him sadly. She stared until he was all gone.
