Dev Ki Sakshi ~

The alarm rang on the side table creating a loud noise which disturbed the couple who were sleeping peacefully snuggled up to each other. Dev opened his eyes and turned it off. His attention turned to his wife who is sleeping so close to him while clutching his shirt and all warm under the blanket because of the AC. He smiled seeing her and kissed her forehead. 

Dev: "Jaan...Wake up baby" 

She hummed but wasn't getting up. 

Dev: "Baby we will miss our flight" 

She finally opened her eyes and looked at him. They smiled each other. 

Dev: "Let's get ready love hm" 

she nodded and they got up from the bed and got freshed. Sakshi wore a simple white shirt tucked in her sky-blue skinny jeans with black boots while Dev wore a brown turtleneck shirt with black pants, shoes and matching black spectacles. While Sakshi was doing her hair Dev called her. 

Dev: "This is for you Jaan" 

He forwarded a box to her; she was confused but opened it and saw an elegant diamond pendant inside. 

Dev: "You liked it? I brought it for you last night." 

Sakshi: "It's very pretty I love it but why did you bring this?" 

Dev: "Because the mangalsuta wouldn't suit with your outfits so I brought it, it will go well on anything"

Sakshi: "Itna mere Baare mein aap Soch the ho?" 

Dev: "Mein Nahi Soch huga Toh Kaun?" 

He turned her around and wrapped it around her neck. 

Dev: "It looks so pretty on you doll" 

He kissed her neck; she smiled and thanked him. Later they went down, the workers took their bags and kept it inside the car while they spoke with the family members. Before they are going, they hugged everyone, and the others wished them a happy journey. 

Mrs. Rajput: "Call us when you reach there, and Dev take good care of my daughter and always hold her hand hm" 

Dev: "Don't worry mom I'll take good care of her, but you people don't call and disturb us all the time" 

Sakshi slightly blushed while everyone else laughed at his words. Later they sat inside the car and drove to the airport. In a while they reached the airport and boarded the plane after 20 minutes. They got a seat at the last with no one to disturb. They got settled and the plane took off. 

Dev: "You good?" 

She nodded and wrapped her arm around his, and layed her head on his shoulder. 

Sakshi: "I'm a little sleepy" 

He kissed her forehead. 

Dev: "you can have a nap love" 

Sakshi: "Aap?" 

Dev: "I have to check few emails I'll do it and join you hm?" 

She nodded and dozed off. 

LATER 

It was time for lunch. The air hostess served them their food. Dev woke Sakshi up and they had their lunch together. After eating Sakshi was on her phone watching reels while Dev was on his laptop doing work.  

Sakshi: "Dev dekhiye ye baby Kitna cute Hai na?" 

She forwarded her phone, he saw and smiled. 

Dev: "It is" 

Sakshi: "Our babies will also be cute" 

Dev: "Not only cute but attractive too because of their mama dada" 

She giggled. 

Sakshi: "When will we have kids?" 

Dev: "Not now love" 

He said while caressing her face. 

Sakshi: "Why?" 

Dev: "We will wait for 2 more years, your very young now, you won't be able to manage it's a huge responsibility, in the meantime why don't we get to know each other?" 

She smiled realizing she married a mature man who understands her and thinks about her. 

Sakshi: "When did I get so lucky to have you?" 

He slightly chuckled and kissed her lips; she kissed him back and they part away after a few seconds. 

Dev: "it's the least I can do for you after all you left everything and came here to stay with me forever...I'll always be there for you" 

Sakshi: "Dev I'm starting to like you so much" 

Dev: "You do darling?" 

she nodded while smiling. 

Dev: "I do too but you can confess when you truly want to by your heart hm?" 

she nodded and hugged him. 

Sakshi: "I always want to be with you" 

Dev: "I do too baby" 

he kissed her forehead and hugged her tighter. 

LATER 

The couple arrived in Switzerland the country where love blooms, the prettiest country in the whole world where everyone once in their lifetime wants to visit. They came out of the airport hand in hand and the cool fresh breeze hit their faces making them feel fresh and happy. A smile automatically came on Sakshi's lip to finally be in the country she always wanted to visit and now she is here with the person she likes the most. A car came and stopped right in front of them Dev opened the door for Sakshi and stepped inside after her. 

Dev: "I already booked a hotel room for us, I'm sure you will like it" 

she nodded. In 30 minutes, they reached the luxurious hotel. They stepped out of the car inside the hotel which looked elegant from inside. Dev went towards the receptionist and asked for the kyes for their already booked hotel room. The lady passed the key. They then took the elevator and reached their room 401. Dev opened the door and asked Sakshi to go in first. When Sakshi saw the room, she felt happy because it is huge with a living room attached, a big master bedroom, a wardrobe, a huge and elegant bathroom with bathtub and the most beautiful thing for Sakshi is the balcony inside the room. 

Dev: "You liked it sweetheart?" 

He asked seeing her happy face. 

Sakshi: "I love it Dev it's so nice" 

Dev: "I booked the hugest one with a balcony which you like the most" 

Sakshi: "Thank you Dev" 

she hugged him, he hugged her back. 

Dev: "it's fine honey"
