It was dinner time the whole Rajput family was together having dinner in peace when Dev decided to speak up.
Dev: "Dad I'm going to New York this week"
Mr. Rajput: "Oh really? but why?"
Dev: "For a work deal, I'm going alone, and Arav is handling the work here"
Mr. Rajput: "Are you sure you'll handle it alone Dev?"
Dev: "Of course dad!"
Mr. Rajput: "For how many days?"
Dev: "For a week"
Mr. Rajput: "When are you planning to leave?"
Dev: "This Saturday"
Mr. Rajput: "Alright go and come back safely"
He nodded. Meanwhile Sakshi was sad because if he leaves, she's going to be all alone plus she'll miss him very much. After dinner everyone went to their room for sleeping. Sakshi lay down facing him, Dev tucked her hair behind her hair sensing she's a little sad.
Dev: "Kuch Hua?"
Sakshi: "Apka New York Jana zaruri hai kya?"
Dev: "Kyu? kya hua?"
Sakshi: "Mein kisiko itna nahi janti yaha"
He smiled realizing what she meant.
Dev: "bass thode din ki baat hai Jaan"
Sakshi: "Kya mein apke sath asakti hu?"
Dev: "Tum kya karogi waha akar? Mein pure din bahar rahuga"
Sakshi: "Dev itne din mein kaise rahugi?"
Dev: "Baby it's just a matter of few days"
Sakshi: "Can you try to come a little early?"
He nodded and kissed her forehead.
Dev: "Your birthday is this Friday, so we'll celebrate it together before I leave for New York"
She nodded and hugged him.
3 Days Later: [FRIDAY]
Sakshi and Dev travelled the night to reach Dev's penthouse which is located inside the forest, A little far from their home. He wanted to spend his last day in India with Sakshi all alone and since it's her birthday, he wanted to make it more special for both of them. The morning approached with cloudy weather and cool breeze roaming around. Both of them were snuggled into each other with a blanket wrapped around them, But Dev woke up and prepared for the day, He went and plucked some flowers for his wife, then made breakfast, while he was doing some work, he saw Sakshi coming down the stairs, he smiled at her once he saw her looking pretty even in the morning.
