Adoring You: Adrinette April

{3. Virtual Reality}

Marinette was with Adrien as he was showing her a brand new virtual reality game that just came out recently where the player plays as a knight, witch or any other fantasy character and they have to complete quests. Adrien had gotten the game a few days ago as he invited Marinette over to his place since he knew how much she loved to play video games and she was currently wearing the VR headset.

"Ready to play, Marinette? Make sure to complete the quests since that's the objective of the game and in return you'll get rewards. Also be careful when you encounter the dragon since it's very powerful and it'll try to make you lose," Adrien said to Marinette as she nodded to what he was saying and she pressed the start button using the VR's controllers.

Marinette was shown a character list as she thought for a moment before she selected the character she wanted to play with and she ended up selecting a female knight character. The game was connected to Adrien's Tv as he was able to see Marinette play the game and soon the game began. The female knight was sent on a quest by the king and queen of the kingdom to find some ingredients for the royal cook but was warned to be very careful of the creatures that guarded the ingredients.

Marinette managed to get four out of five ingredients that she needed to get as her character was making its way towards a cave and the knight held a flame torch in order to light up the way. Adrien was proud of Marinette for managing to get the first four ingredients as all she had to do was get the last one before she had to return back to the castle but it wasn't going to be easy and the female knight came face to face with a dragon.

"Watch out for the dragon, Marinette! There's a power up over there! Go and get it!" Adrien said to Marinette as she made her character go over to the power up using the controllers and the knight picked up the power up which granted her the ability to be invisible for seven minutes. The knight turned invisible as Marinette weakened the dragon before grabbing the last ingredient with a minute left of the invisibility power up and the knight quickly left, heading to the castle.

"Well done for retrieving the ingredients, brave knight. You've done very well. Here is your reward," The King said once the knight made it to the castle with the ingredients and the Queen gave the knight her reward. The game then showed Marinette's achievements as she took off the VR headset and she set it down on the coffee table before she began to cheer.

"That was so much fun! Thank you so much for letting me play the game, Adrien. Virtual reality games are really fun," Marinette said to Adrien as she had a great time playing the game and Adrien was proud of Marinette for doing so well. He was very impressed with how Marinette played as he learnt a lot from how she played and he would try the game out himself soon.
