Marinette was in the royal kitchen at the Agreste royal family castle as she was with some other cooks along with her parents and they were all cooking until someone walked into the kitchen while everyone stopped what they were doing before bowing/curtsying to the prince of the Agreste family. They soon stopped as Adrien told them to rise and he went over to where Marinette was who wondered what was going on. He stopped in front of her as he smiled and he extended his hand towards Marinette.

"I know you must be busy right now, Marinette but I would like to take you out because I want to talk to you if that's alright with you," Adrien said as Marinette nodded in agreement and she placed her hand on top of Adrien's hand before he leaves with her while her parents smiled since they were glad that Marinette got along so well with Adrien because they were childhood friends who always played together despise Adrien's father, King Gabriel, telling him not to play with 'a commoner' but Adrien didn't listen to his father.

Adrien takes Marinette to the Royal Garden as he takes her to their secret spot within the garden and they both sat down. Adrien gave Marinette a rose as he placed it into her hair and she smiled at him, thanking him for the rose. Marinette liked being Adrien even though they were completely different from one another since she was just a baker while Adrien was a royal but she was glad that Adrien didn't treat her badly just because she was a commoner.

"Thank you for being my friend, Adrien. I love being with you and it's nice to get away from the castle from time to time especially when I'm busy cooking with my parents. Anyways you mentioned that you wanted to talk about something so what exactly did you want to talk about?" Marinette said to Adrien as he shuffled closer to Marinette since they were sat a bit far away from each other and Marinette blushed when he got close to her.

"I wanted to confess something to you, Marinette but if you say no then I won't be mad at you. Well here goes then. I like you Marinette ever since we were younger but of course we were too young to be together so I've been waiting for the right time to confess," Adrien began as Marinette's eyes widened in shock at the confession but she also liked Adrien romantically and Adrien continued to speak.

"So I've decided to confess to you now because we're older now but if you don't feel the same way then I understand," Adrien said to Marinette as he waited for Marinette's answer and she leaned over to Adrien before kissing him on the cheek, causing Adrien to blush at her action.

"I also like you too, Adrien but I never thought you'd feel the same way because I'm just the baker while you're a royal. I thought you'd like someone who is a royal like Princess Chloe or Princess Kagami but I'm glad that you like me too," Marinette said to Adrien as she was afraid that he liked someone else but she was relieved when Adrien told her that he liked him.

"Just because we're from different classes, it doesn't change my feelings towards you, Marinette. I will love you forever and always," Adrien said as he kissed Marinette on the lips and she kissed him back before they pulled away from the kiss while smiling at each other. They both finally confessed to one another as they were glad that their friendship blossomed into love towards each other and they would always love one another no matter what happens because true love always wins.
