Adoring You: Adrinette April

{29. Safe}

After being saved by her boyfriend (while he was) Chat Noir from a robber who had tried to hurt her when she refused to give the robber her bag, Marinette was scared from what had happened as she was being taken home by Chat who carried her in his arms and she had her arms wrapped around his neck. Once he arrived back to her place, Chat placed Marinette down on her bed as he turned around to leave but he stopped when Marinette grabbed her arm.

"Please stay with me, Adrien. I'm still a bit shaken up from what happened earlier and you being here makes me feel safe," Marinette said to Adrien as he nodded and she lets go of his arm before he sat next to her on her bed. He de-transformed as Adrien hugged Marinette to comfort her and she started to cry because she had almost gotten hurt by the robber which terrified her.

"I'm right here, m'lady. I won't leave you and I'll keep you safe. I won't let anyone or anything harm you," Adrien said to Marinette as he kissed her forehead and she calmed down, sniffling a little. She pulled away from the hug as Adrien told her to take a few deep breaths to help her and Marinette did exactly what he had told her to do, making her feel more better. Adrien was glad to see Marinette feeling more at ease as he was going to stay with her and make sure nothing happened to his girlfriend.

"Thank you for comforting me, Adrien. I really needed that and you always know how to make me feel better. Also thank you for saving me. I was so frozen in fear that I didn't know what to do but you saved me," Marinette said to Adrien as he smiled at her and she kissed his cheek as a way of saying thank you to him once again.

"Anytime Marinette and I'm glad you didn't get hurt. If anything had happened then I wouldn't have forgiven myself but it's a good thing you're alright. I will always keep you safe no matter what happens and protect you," Adrien said to Marinette as they both shared a kiss before pulling away and decided to go to sleep. Adrien was going to make sure to keep his lady safe from any danger no matter what happens to himself since he doesn't want to see Marinette getting hurt or frightened.
