Adoring You: Adrinette April

{1. Dating Sim}

Welcome to the first chapter of Adoring You: Adrinette April! I'll upload the chapters between 2pm and 5pm, UK time (BST) or whenever I'm free. Let's kick start Adrinette April!

"This is really weird. Tell me why you suggested me to do this, Alya?" Marinette said to her best friend, Alya, who had suggested she try a dating sim game for some reason and Marinette wondered why she should play such a strange game or why Alya even knew about it.

"It's not weird, Mari. I'm telling you to play it because you should think of it as practice at romance. I've heard from Nino that Adrien plays this game too," Alya replied as Marinette was shocked that Adrien would even play such a game and assumed that Gabriel wouldn't let his son play such games but maybe he played in secret.

"Fine. I'll play and maybe I can invite Adrien over to play with me. Thanks for letting me know about it. Talk to you later. Bye bestie," Marinette said as she ended the call with her friend and she texted Adrien, asking him if he was free to come over. He texted back telling you that he was free for two hours until his next photoshoot so he was on his way.

Marinette waited as she had downloaded the dating sims game onto her computer, the one that Alya had told her about, and she had it opened up. A few minutes passed as there was a knock on her door and Adrien entered while waving to Marinette who waved back at him.

"Hey Adrien. Thanks for coming over. I've heard from Alya that you've played this dating sims game so I was wondering if you would show me how to play and what to do since I've never done something like this before," Marinette explained to Adrien as he nodded while pulling up a chair next to Marinette and they turned their attention to the computer screen.

"Anytime Marinette and sure I can show you how to play this dating sims game. It's pretty fun and I'm sure you'll find it interesting too. I'll guide you through what you have to do so make sure to pay attention. Alright?" Adrien said to Marinette as she pressed the start button of the game and soon they began to play while Adrien guided her through on what to do.

Slowly but surely, Marinette was progressing well as she was beginning to understand more about the game and she was glad to have Adrien's help because she couldn't have done it without him so she was thankful that he was here with her. The female character Marinette was playing as was talking to a male character and she noticed the characters had similar hairstyles like herself and Adrien.

"Hey look. The characters have similar hairstyles to us. Have you seen this before, Adrien?" Marinette pointed out to Adrien as he too had noticed the similarities between the hairstyles of the characters in the game and themselves. He found it really cool as the male character definitely rocked his hairstyle very well and Marinette agreed.

"I've seen this before and they both rock our hairstyles. Maybe it's a coincidence they have similar hairstyles to us but either way I find it really awesome. I bet you agree with me, Marinette. Anyways let's continue for a bit more and then I'm going to have to get going," Adrien said as Marinette nodded and they continued playing the dating sim game.

An hour and a half passed as Adrien looked at the alarm clock on Marinette's desk and he realised that he had to get going. He told Marinette that he had to leave to get to his photoshoot on time as he waved goodbye to Marinette and he headed out of the bedroom before going downstairs, leaving the house.

"Thank you for teaching me how to play, Adrien. I had a great time," Marinette texted him as she smiled and no later than a minute later, she received a text from Adrien telling her that he also had a great time playing the dating sims game with Marinette along with another text saying that he would love to play with her again.

"I guess this dating sims game wasn't too strange as I thought. Maybe I can play with Adrien again when he is able to," Marinette thought as she was glad to have been introduced to the dating sims game and she would definitely play with Adrien once again.
