Soulmates. Everyone knew what they were as there were different ways of finding your soulmate but for Marinette she had a special way of finding her soulmate which was that the left eye colour was green and her right eye remained blue. This happened when she was eight years old as she was surprised that something like this had happened and her parents told her not to worry because having two different colour eyes meant that you would find your soulmate.

Now at the age of 18, Marinette was at college with Alya as they were both chatting to each other in the cafeteria while having lunch and Alya was talking about how she met her soulmate who turned out to be Nino. Alya and Nino's hair colour had switched as they found each other back when they were both sixteen years old. They both ended up dating for two years as Marinette also wished to find her soulmate who had different coloured eyes like she has and she didn't want to wait any longer because she tired of waiting but she had to until she found her soulmate.

"Don't worry Marinette. I'm sure you'll find your soulmate soon," Alya said to Marinette who sighed as she really hoped so and wished her soulmate would just appear in front of her already. A few minutes later, it seemed like her prayers were answered as Adrien came in with Nino and he also had different eye colours just like Marinette did but he was wearing sunglasses so Marinette couldn't see his eyes just yet.

"Hey Adrien why are you wearing sunglasses indoors? You can take them off now," Marinette said to Adrien as he sat down next to Marinette while Nino sat with Alya and he took off his sunglasses, revealing his eye colours to his friends who all gasped in shock.

"What? Is something wrong? Wait Marinette you have the same different coloured eyes like I do. That means you're my soulmate," Adrien said as Marinette nodded and she couldn't believe that her crush had the same eye colours like she did. Their eyes met as they changed back to green and blue eyes which meant they had found each other as soulmates.

"Our eyes have changed back to their normal colour which means we've found each other. You're my soulmate, Adrien and I couldn't be more happier. I'm so glad to have found you as my soulmate," Marinette said as Adrien nodded in agreement and they both smiled at each other. Soulmates had different ways of finding each from same markings or switching something but for Adrien and Marinette their eye colour had switched to match each other. They ended up finding each other as soulmates and they were really glad to have found one another.
