{21. Lucky Charms}

"No, no, no! This can't be happening! I can't believe the lucky charm Adrien made for me snapped. I wish I wasn't so clumsy," Marinette said as she picked up the lucky charm bracelet pieces from the floor and she sighed, wishing she hadn't let this happen. The bracelet meant a lot to her as she promised to herself that she would make sure nothing would happen to it but the lucky charm bracelet ended up snapping and all the charms apart from the string they were previously on.

"Don't worry, Marientte. I'm sure things will be fine but what are you going to do with the bracelet now?" Tikki said to her owner as Marientte wasn't too sure on what to do about it since she didn't want to try to fix the bracelet since the charms were in a specific order on the string and she didn't remember the order so she had to ask Adrien for help. The door to her bedroom opened as Tikki went off to hide and Adrien came into the room.

"Adrien? What are you doing here?" Marinette asked as she didn't expect him to suddenly show up at her place and she hadn't been informed by him beforehand so she wondered if everything was alright. Adrien closed the door as he went over Marinette and he noticed the lucky charm bracelet her had made had snapped.

"Sorry for showing up unannounced, Marinette but I was hoping if we could hang out together and since you weren't answering my calls or texts, I decided to come over. What happened to the lucky charm bracelet?" Adrien said as Marinette didn't realise he had called her and she remembered that she had to charge her phone which is why she didn't answer the calls or texts from Adrien.

"I'm sorry for not answering your calls or texts and I was going to charge my phone but my bracelet ended up snapping when I tripped the carpet. I accidentally pulled on it which caused it to snap," Marinette said as she knew that probably sounded so strange but she had actually done that and she hoped she wouldn't get laughed at for being so clumsy.

"It's no problem at all, Marinette and I'm surprised that happened to you but don't worry. I can fix the lucky charm bracelet for you," Adrien said as Marinette gave him the charm pieces along with a new piece of string and in a few minutes, Adrien was able to finish making the bracelet before he gave it to Marinette.

"Thank you so much, Adrien. I will make sure that nothing happens to this one and I'll take better care of it," Marinette said as she knew she had to be more careful with things and she was going to make sure to handle her clumsiness more efficiently than before. Adrien smiled as he was glad that Marinette wasn't so upset anymore and he knew how much lucky charms meant to her as well as himself. He still kept the lucky charms bracelet Marinette had made for him so he knew how valuable it was to him.
