{28. Wedding Dress}

"You look so drop dead gorgeous, girl. Adrien will be spending some time picking up his jaw off the ground when he sees you," Alya said to Marinette who blushed at her friend's compliment and she smiled. Rose, Juleka, Zoe, Mylène, Alix and Kagami nodded in agreement as Marinente hugged her friends. She was really glad that the wedding dress turned out great since she had made it herself for her wedding with her boyfriend and soon to be husband, Adrien Agreste.

"Alya is right, Marinette. You look amazing and Adrien is going to be glad to see you," Rose said as she was really happy that her friend was getting married and she wipes a tear away since she had promised to not cry. Juleka comforted Rose as she gave her a small smile which helped Rose and she kissed Juleka's cheek. Zoe looked at the time as it was nearly time for Marinette to head to the wedding venue and she informed her friends.

"We should get going. The wedding is about to start soon," Zoe said to everyone as she left along with everyone else apart from Alya who stayed with Marinette and she noticed how nervous her best friend was. She understood that people would get nervous right before a wedding as she decided to help lift Marinette's spirits and she knew how important this day was for her.

"Everything is going to be alright, Marinette so don't worry about it. We're all going to be there for your special day. Now let's get going," Alya said as she hugged her best friend before they separated and they left the room, heading to the wedding venue. Marinette's father, Tom Dupain-Cheng, came as Marinette puts her hand on his arm and he opens the venue's door before he begins to walk her daughter down the aisle. Alya walks beside them as she wipes a tear away from her eyes and she smiles at her best friend while flower petals were being thrown at Marinette.

Everyone turned around to see Marinette walking down the aisle with her father and her best friend as Adrien smiled at seeing Marinette but he was in awe with her wedding dress since he was mesmerised by it. Once Marinette made it to the front of the wedding venue where Adrien was along with the priest, Tom and Alys sat in their seats before the wedding began.

"We are all gathered here today to witness and bless this union as Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste join together in this holy matrimony," The priest began to say as he continued to speak while Adrien and Marinette held hands while smiling at each other. They were both really happy they were finally getting married as it felt like a dream come true and they couldn't be more happier.

"Do you, Marinette Dupain Cheng, take Adrien Agreste as your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asked Marinette as she responded with 'I do' and he asked the same question to Adrien who replied with the same answer as Marinette. They both knew what was going to happen next as they both got ready for the priest's next words.

"Now then I pronounce you both as husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride," The priest said as Adrien lifted Marinette's blue vail and he kissed her on the lips while everyone started to clap for them while cheering for the newlyweds. The couple pulled away from the kiss as they both smiled at each other and they were officially married now.

"I just want to say that your wedding dress looks absolutely beautiful, Marinette and so are you. I love you so much," Adrien said to Marinette as he kissed her on the lips and he pulled away afterwards. Marinette was so glad he liked the wedding dress as she had spent a three days on it and it was definitely worth it because the wedding dress looked amazing in the end and she was proud of the dress end result.
