Wake Up.

I watch in horror as multiple of the scouts in the black uniform speed towards Porco. I don't know what to do. I wish so badly that in this moment I had that god damned titan power.

Gun fire shoots from out of nowhere, I look above me and see Pieck atop the roof across from the ongoing fight. It causes a much needed distraction as the war hammer impales Erens body with her armour. The ground starts to shake and I see Zeke in his beast form walking towards Eren. Porco makes a break for it and meets up with Pieck.

I need to get out of here before I get caught in the crossfire. I decide to try to track down Gabi. Maybe she found Falco. I am becoming more and more worried for Reiner. Why hasn't he joined the fight? I don't understand.

I finally find Gabi, seemingly at the same time as Falco. They're standing with Magath.

"Gabi! Falco!" I yell as I run towards them. "Are you all okay?" Gabi still has that look in her eyes. "L/N! You need to take these two and get the hell out of here."  Magath orders.

"What? No way! I can help. I need to help!" I turn to Falco and place my hands on his shoulders. "Where is Reiner?" I ask. "Hes not moving. It's like he's in a coma. It's my fault. he saved my life." Falco says. "Who'd he save you from?" Magath asks. "It was Eren Jaeger." Falco admits. My heart sinks

"Falco whe-." I'm cut off mid sentence by a thundering bang. We are all knocked down from the blast. "What the hell was that??" I run out and look around and that's when I see it. The colossal titan.

"They took out our ships." Magath says. I turn to the commander. "Did you know this was going to happen?" I ask. Magath gives me a questioning look. "I don't believe that's any of your-." I cut him off, my pulse hammering in my ears. "Did. you. know." Magath seems to shrink a little.

"We had an idea something might occur." I press the heels of my hands to my eyes.  "And the plan was to gather everyone like lambs to a slaughter?!" I yell. I can see Gabi and Falco tense beside me. "Watch your mouth, Eldian." Magath spits. I want to argue but there's no time.

"Falco. Take me to Reiner." I ask. "I'm coming with you." Gabi says. I know there is no fighting with her so I give in. "We need to hurry." Soon we're all running through the streets again. Gabi with a gun slung over her back.

On our way, we watch as Pieck falls from the roof of a building. She lays there unmoving. Her face is mutilated. "Pieck!" I yell. Falco runs over to Pieck just as one of the scouts shows up to finish her off. "Falco no!" I shout at him.

I run over to him and notice it's the same man from earlier. He's looking at me when I yell, "Don't shoot! He's just a a kid!" My plea falls on deaf ears as he throws one of those exploding spears towards Pieck and Falco. At the same moment, Pieck shoots her steam out to deflect the spear.

Pieck gets up from her titan and Falco and I rush to her side. "Pieck, are you okay? Talk to me." My breathing is quick. "Take Falco and run. Run away." She says through heavy breaths. "The cart titan is still alive!" I hear someone yell from above. "We're not leaving you Piecky." I run my fingers through her blood caked black hair.

"Keep Pieck covered!" I hear Magath yell. The men with us shoot up at the incoming scouts. "Falco help me with her." He grunts in agreement. We take Pieck out of her titan and wait for the all clear from Magath to move. We need to get Pieck somewhere safe.

We finally get the go ahead and find an empty building. We place Pieck inside. "We have to get Reiner. Porco needs back up." I say desperately.  Gabi runs to the window. I follow her as we watch Eren use Porcos jaw to crush the war hammer titan. I'm horrified as the blood and viscera from the war hammer pours into Erens mouth. "No." I whisper.

"The war hammer titan just got eaten. and the Jaw is next" Magath says from beside me. We watch as Eren pummels Porco into the ground. "No no no." I mutter. "We have to do something. Where is Reiner?!" I beg. Gabi starts screaming at the top of her lungs.

"Reiner!!! Reiner!!! Help us!!" Falco joins in and I frantically scan the area for any sign of Reiner. I notice something move from beneath the rubble. It's the armoured titans hand. "Keep yelling Gabi." I tell her and my feet start moving before I realize what I'm doing. "L/N, wait!" I hear Magath yell but i'm too quick to stop.

I run as fast as I can and pray Porco can hold on a little longer. I am so close to Reiner. We need him. "Come on come on." I mutter. I need Eren to stay distracted and hope Gabis wails will do the trick.

I finally reach Reiners hand and climb on top. I see that he hadn't fully transformed so his upper body is sticking out of the armours neck. I crawl towards him. His eyes are closed. He looks like he's sleeping.

I place both my hands on Reiners face. "Reiner. Are you in there? It's me. It's Y/N. We need you Reiner. Porco is going to die if you don't wake up and help. I need you." I feel dampness leak down my cheeks as I lean my forehead against his.

"Please don't leave me. Not again. Not like this. Can you hear me? Do you hear Gabi and Falco? They need you. Pieck is hurt bad." I swing my arms around him and lower my head onto his shoulder.

"I forgive you Reiner. I forgive you for all of it. I don't care that you kept that secret from me. I don't care that you failed your mission. All I care about is you. Safe and alive. You told me you adored me when we were kids, but I still adore you Reiner. Please. Come back to me." I squeeze him as hard as I can.

"If you don't move than I will stay here with you. We can stay here together forever. We can let someone else fight this war. But if you don't wake up then that someone will be those two kids out there and they need you, Reiner. I need you."

"Run." I hear him say, but I don't fully comprehend it. "Reiner?" I whip my head back and look at him. He opens his eyes slowly. "Run, Y/N." I don't waste another second.

I release Reiner and sprint out of his hand. I barely make it 10 feet before he's transformed fully into his armour. The blast shoots me forward and I land in a pile of rubble. My adrenaline is starting to wear off and I'm feeling the extent of my injuries.

I stare as Eren eases up on Porco and sigh in relief. He turns his head to see Reiner standing behind him. I look over to where Gabi and Falco were and see Gabi leaning out the window, a smile on her face. "Gabi!" I try to yell. I manage to pull myself up and begin to stumble back to the house. Gabi notices me halfway and helps bring me back. I drag myself to the window and see Porco being held like a doll by Eren. Above him, Reiner staring down Eren. I clench my fists as hard as I can.

"He's going to do it. He's going to kill Eren." I hear Gabi say beside me. I can only hope she's right.
