Shock & Adrenaline.

"Huh? Galliard?" I hear Gabi utter from beside me. I look on in terror at the scene before us. Falco swallows Porcos bloodied body and I pull Gabis face into my chest to shield her from the horrifying sight.

Reiner spins around and yells in anger, throwing his fist into Erens face with extreme strength. Eren hardens his entire body, trapping Reiners hand to his shell. Reiner struggles to get free while Eren jumps out of his titan crystal and starts sprinting to Zeke.

Gabi and I stare in shock while Eren barrels towards Zeke. He's in his human form. So fragile and vulnerable. I look around for something to stop him with when my eyes set on one of the military's guns.

Gabi follows my gaze and sprints towards it. "Gabi wait!" I yell but she's too quick to stop. She picks it up and it's almost bigger than her but she holds her own.

Reiner rips his hand out of the crystal, but right as he's about to pick up Eren, he's shot down by 2 of those exploding spears. I look up and see the same people from the rooftop before I rolled off.

Reiner falls back against a building and doesn't move. I look over to Gabi who is holding the gun up, I look where it's pointing and see as Eren runs right into her line of sight. I suck in a sharp breath as she lets the bullet fly.

In an instant, Erens head is flung off his shoulders and blood is spraying everywhere. Everything seems to happen in slow motion. I turn to look to Gabi who is flying backwards by the recoil of the gun. Erens decapitated head flies through the air, towards Zekes open palm. "No!" I yell but it's useless. Zeke catches Erens head, and I watch in horror as a long cord shoots off from out of it, resembling a spine.

The brightest flash of light Ive ever seen illuminates the sky. The walls begin to crumble around us and I lose my balance with the shaking of the earth beneath me. I look up and my heart sinks into my stomach at the realization of what is happening around us. The Rumbling.

I crawl over to Gabi. "You need to go. Now!" I scream. "The wall is coming down, you need to run." Gabi shakes her head. "I'm not leaving you!" We have to get to Reiner and Falco!" I can barely hear her over the sound of the walls coming down around us.

We stare up in shock as giant colossal titans emerge from the walls. Erens titan lets out a screech and I fling my arms around Gabi again, a fruitless attempt to shield her from the onslaught of debris.

The thundering chaos is suddenly silenced and when I open my eyes Gabi & I are sitting on what looks to be sand. There is a bright blue light shooting into the darkened sky on the horizon. I slacken my grip on Gabi and she looks out at what surrounds us.

"Hear me. Subjects of Ymir." We hear a booming voice say to us. I can't find the source of the voice, it's all around us.

"My name is Eren Jaeger. I'm addressing my fellow subjects of Ymir. Speaking to you directly through the power of the founder. All of the walls on the island of Paradis have crumbled to the ground." Gabi and I are stunned into our spot. All I can do is stare into the distance and wait to hear Erens message.

"And the legion of titans buried within have begun their march. My only goal is to protect the lives of the people of Paradis. The island where I was born. Right now the nations of the world are united, in their desire to terminate our people. And it won't end with our island, they won't be satisfied until every last subject of Ymir is dead.  I won't let them have their way. The titans of the walls will march, until every trace of life behind our shore is trampled flat."

We're back in Paradis. The walls have crumbled around us. I am trying to process what Eren Jaeger just admitted to us but I can't seem to wrap my head around it. "My family." Gabi whispers. "My family is going to be murdered." I sigh deeply and look up. I don't see any trace of Reiner. I look around but he's gone.
