Scorched Earth.

I hear an ear splitting scream and watch as Eren charges for Reiner. I shoot my hooks out onto the roof to stabilize myself. I feel frozen. I don't know how to help Reiner but I know that I need to. Eren is a man with one goal, and that goal is to destroy Marley and anyone who gets in his way.

Eren reaches Reiner and I can't look away as he slams Reiner into a tower. I look below me and see Pieck running towards the Marleyan soldiers with Gabi in her mouth. I swing off the building and make my way over to them. I see Magath waving Pieck over to him and speed up my movements to reach him.

I land beside Pieck and we watch Magath walk down towards us. Pieck throws Gabi out of her mouth and Magath kneels before bed. "Gabi!" Magath yells, I tense up at his tone, Gabi looks up horrified. And then I am rendered speechless as Magath pulls Gabi into him and hugs her. I think my jaw may have dropped on the floor.

"Commander Magath?" Gabi utters. Magath releases her from his embrace. "Damn it all Braun! Did I order you to pursue the enemy?" He scolds. "I'm sorry, sir!"

"Gabi!" I hear Colt yell as he runs towards us. He looks around us. "Why isn't Falco here? Is he safe?" He ask frantically, his eyes scanning the area. I watch Gabi as she looks down to the ground, tears welling in her eyes. My heart sinks into my stomach. "Gabi??" I urge. "What is it?" She doesn't look up.

"He's alive, he should be in that big building. He got some of Zekes spinal fluid in his mouth, so they're keeping him locked up." I hear Colt gasp from beside me and a wave of nausea hits me.

"You're kidding me, right?!" Colt shouts. Magath looks horrified. I press my nails into my palms as hard as I can. Fuck. Is Zeke decides to yell in proximity to Falco, he will be turned into a pure titan and there is nothing we can do to save him. "Falco.." I whisper under my breath.

I hear the raspy voice of Piecks titan. "He's being detained along with roughly 300 local soldiers who also drank the spinal fluid. I counted about 500 free enemy troops in the area, but I didn't see any sign of Zeke."

Magath stands up. "Is it possible they could activate the founders power?" He asks Pieck. "I'm not sure, but I know this much. That power is the strongest weapon they've got..the ace up their sleeve. There must be a reason they haven't used it yet."

Gabis eyes shoot open wide and she stands up. "Wait. On the airships. I heard Zeke say something about how they now possess the founding titan as well as a Titan with royal blood. He was talking to Eren at the time." "Does that mean, Zeke is the Titan with royal blood?" I think out loud. "Weren't his parents restorationists?" I ask Magath. He nods. "It's possible Zeke contains royal blood." He confirms.

Pieck straps the artillery onto her back, and lowers herself to the ground to allow for the soldiers to climb atop her. "We have to prevent the two of them making contact-." Before she can continue, another loud bang catches our attention in the distance. "Fuck. Reiner." I say.

"Marley's shield won't break that easily, no- not just Marley. He's shielding the rest of the world. We're humanities final hope." Magath says while he climbs the cart. "We must have a warrior eat the founder, or else nothing will be solved." "Magath!" I yell. "What, L/N?" I look around nervously.

"What do I do?! Where do you want me to go?" I feel my legs become noodles with worry and fear. I can see Reiner throwing punch after punch, but Eren deflects them all. He's going to tire himself out.

"I imagine the scouts will be here soon to stop Reiner. Keep an eye out. And do not die, that is a direct order." I try to shake off my nerves. "Yes sir!" I yell. I turn to Colt. "Keep Gabi safe and go find your brother." He nods and I release my gear and swing back towards the ongoing fight.

I find a rooftop that overlooks most of the city. If the scouts show up I'll see them coming. I look back over to Reiner and Eren and watch as Eren gets ahold of Reiners arm punches him right in the face. Some of Reiners armour flies off and my heart sinks. "Where is Porco?" I ask to nobody. Reiner tries to get another punch in but he's not fast enough, Eren brings his fist down hard and fast onto his jaw, more armour flying.

Reiner dodges the next one and slams Eren into a nearby house, causing dust and debris to rise up. I can't see what's going on now through the dust. I hear a loud crash and swing to the side of a tower to get a better look. Reiner is laid out on the ground, Eren rising above him. I hear thudding nearby and Porco lands across from me. "Go! Now!" I yell at him. Porco doesnt hesitate as he heads towards Eren and leaps over to him.

Eren shoots spikes out of his back but Porco dodges them with ease. I can hear Porcos war cry and know how badly he wants to make Eren pay for what he did to Liberio. Porco breaks Eren spikes with his claws. He kicks Eren forward, right into Reiners grasp. He's trying to keep his nape exposed, Porco leaps towards it, his mouth agape. He is so close.

2 spikes shoot out from both sides of Erens body and impale both Reiner and Porco simultaneously. No. I hear yelling in the distant and that's when I notice it. The scouts have arrived. I don't have time to worry about Reiner and Porco right now, I have to protect the scouts from finishing them off.

I stand up and shoot my hooks into the tower above me. Before I get the chance to swing, a giant boom thunders near us and I look and see Eren fall to the ground, blood pouring out of his head. Pieck.

The scouts fly through the air at the blast and I lose sight of them. The Marleyan army takes the to roofs and begins shooting at the scouts. I look up and see the airships raining fire down below them. I need to find cover before I get caught in the crossfire.

I swing into the window of someone's home and look out the balcony as Porco leaps through the air towards Eren. My eyes widen, Eren is slumped over on the ground, bleeding out. His nape is exposed and Porco is moving at record speeds to reach him, it's not or never. "Go Porco!!" I scream.

Eren again shoots his spikes out or the ground, but Porco dodges them. He lands on a nearby roof and I swing over to him. His nape is better covered now but it's still not impossible. Pieck lets off another canon and hits Eren in the head. He falls back onto one of his spikes and stays there, motionless.

"It's gotta be soon, Pock. We have to end this." I say. I see him nod in agreement. "He's gotta be tired now but I wouldn't count him out. He's so god damned stubborn." I hear Porco huff out a breath and I look over at what he's seeing. Reiner is up, and he's holding one of Erens spikes in his hands. He's going to charge him. "Get ready Pock." I say. Reiner impales Eren and he screams out in pain.

Reiner continues to press the spike into Erens body, pushing it further and further in. Eren lets off a scream so loud I cover my ears on instinct. "Fuck." I say to myself, I close my eyes, as if that will help. Somethings not right. I've never heard a scream like that before. I look over to the titan beside me. "Somethings wrong." I say. "He sounds like a dying animal." And that's when it hits me. He's not screaming out in pain.

He's calling for help.
