Phillip stifled a yawn as he sat down at an empty desk. To say that his first few days at school were tiring was an understatement. Even the simple task of navigating the hallways, where random students spoke in hushed tones about the "new kid," was getting to be a bit much. He had gotten away without needing to talk to anyone, though, so that was fairly easy on him. No, the real source of his sleepiness was the DnD Club. His mom and dad had convinced him to try and open up to others more, maybe hang out with new friends instead of holing up in their office whenever he could. By chance, Phillip had chosen the DnD Club to start off because it sounded interesting. And then he was forcefully brought into the other world, now playing as his character Percival. Apparently, there was some rule dictating that the rest of the club couldn't tell anyone about all this beforehand. Phillip really wished the rule didn't exist, otherwise he wouldn't have added that whole backstory with the sea monster. Now he's got to deal with several large scars, a severed tail, and a generally weak body in that world. Through the window, Phillip watched as crowds of students went about the school festival. He told himself he would start interacting with others more, but now he was just sitting in an empty classroom like a hypocrite. Ah, well. Might as well take this time to sleep. It's not like anybody else is going to come by...

The school festival has been a large source of entertainment for the school's local PokeTuber Pachirisu. It gave Alex all the thrills he needed, and plenty of opportunities to record videos. Just yesterday he celebrated his victory in the dunk tank. Of course he made himself infinitely more dunkable by flossing, but he never got dunked. Alex was running down the hall when the sight of an empty classroom he passed grabbed his attention. He noticed a lone student just sitting there. What kind of insanity was this? What was someone doing sitting out in an empty classroom when there was a festival going on? Alex had to see this. The Pachirisu opened the door, trotting over yo the Buneary sitting in there sleeping. He grabbed a chair and moved it close by and began poking him repeatedly.

(...Oh, no.) As soon as he heard footsteps coming from down the hallway, the Buneary knew some trouble was coming. He opened his eyes the slightest amount to see who had come in: a Pachirisu boy around his age with a...video camera? Come to think of it, didn't Phillip overhear something about a popular student who liked to film things? Maybe that was him. Phillip shuddered a little as the Pachirisu boy pulled up a chair and began poking him in the side of his body. Although he dislikes being touched, the sleepy bunny was able to endure the poking for a few minutes. (What the heck is even happening...?) he thought to himself, inwardly distressed. The poking soon turned more uncomfortable, as the Pachirisu boy changed targets to his ear fluff. Finally, Phillip couldn't take it. He groggily lifted his head and shifted in his seat, frowning. "...Um...sorry...could you not do that...? It feels weird..."

The Pachirisu kept poking him and poking him. That poor Buneary had to endure all this poking. It was harmless, but still this was a bot much. Alex seemed to have a cheeky grin spread across his face as he continued to poke the Buneary. It looked like it was working though! "Sorry! I thought you were dead for a moment!" He responded with a bright smile. He finally stopped poking him though. That's a bright side. "What's a bunny boy like yourself sitting all alone here when there's a festival going on?" He curiously asked as he planted his elbows on the desk, resting his chin on his hands.

Phillip sighed. It didn't look like he was getting out of this one. This Pachirisu kid didn't seem like the type of person to leave someone alone simply by just asking. Falling back asleep clearly wasn't an option unless he wanted more pokes. From that mad dash he could hear out in the hallway, this boy was probably very fast, too; Phillip probably couldn't outrun him, even with how nimble he himself was. "Um...I guess I'm just a little nervous around people," the Buneary said. Maybe that would be enough to clue the student in on Phillip's current discomfort? He wasn't sure yet if he wanted to say too much.

Alex was a nosy one. He had to know everything going on pretty much. He'd push and push you for answers. That was just the kind of Pachirisu he was. There was no getting out of this, and Alex could catch up pretty quickly. He does a lot of running and he loves it. When Alex heard the Bunneary was a little nervous, he couldn't help but let out an 'awww'. Poor lil guy. He seemed like he was new also. "Awwww! That's all it is, dude? Shy lil dude! Kinda cute! Hehe! C'mon tho! You're missing out on some real fun!" Alex responded. The Pachirisu didn't seem to take a hint though.

The Pachirisu suddenly took Phillip by the hand, likely wanting to bring him down to the festivities. A shiver ran up Phillip's arm, and he felt a great desire to pull his arm away. But he didn't want to be rude either, that would just make things worse. Instead, he bottled his anxiety and got up from his desk along with the other student. "...Fine..." At this point, he reasoned a bit with himself. No matter what, this person probably wouldn't let up trying to get him up. This was probably some sort of sign that he should get started talking to others. And on closer inspection, there was quite a bit about this Pachirisu that he was curious about. To be honest, he kind of reminded Phillip of his younger brother. Very energetic yet earnest in what he does. It seemed that he only wanted to help Phillip, after all. And that video camera as well. Was he interested in filming? Questions started forming in Phillip's mind. But most important at the moment... "Ah...my name's Phillip, by the way... What's your name?"

The Pachirisu grabbed Phillip by the hand. That bright smile on his face suggested his actions had good faith. He didn't like to see someone all alone. It was the right thing to do in his eyes. Though he wasn't considering the anxiety the Bunneary felt. "SWEEEEEEEET! LET'S GO, DUDE!" Alex excitedly said, throwing his hand up in the air. He thought he could show the Bunneary around and maybe guide him to the festival. It sounded like a good idea to him. Maybe the Bunneary would enjoy it. He could only hope though. He got up and grabbed his video camera, strapping it around the belt strap on his pants. "And I'm Alex! Also known as NyoomSquirrel on PokeTube! Let's go! We got- WAIT! OH! OH! DUDE WAIT!" Alex loudly spoke as he pulled out his phone. He quickly opened the camera and raised it up high, wanting to get a picture. "Say cheese, dude!"
