With her having a few hours of sleep, her eyes feel heavy, while the exhaustion consumes her. As she lays there, and slowly opens her eyes, she listens to the bird's chirp. Watching them fly by the window, she then senses that Geo isn't in her space at the moment. The thoughts of him scattering around in her brain, she then puts her hand under the couch, and feels for the journal.
Seeing that it's there, she then gets up, and walks into the kitchen, and turns on the coffee pot. As it brews, she walks to the end of the kitchen counter, and leans on it and becomes deep in thought. Within moments, she hears the bed creak upstairs, and she senses that Kyle is getting up. With his feet creaking the floorboards, she walks back over to the coffee pot, and listens to Kyle walk down the stairs, and into the kitchen.
With him walking over to the cupboards, he opens the cupboard, and grabs a coffee mug without saying a word. As he sets it on the counter, he then walks over to Luna, and gives her a kiss on the lips, and as she gives him a kiss back, and senses darkness coming from him. Keeping the thought to herself, she turns around, and grabs a coffee mug from the strainer. Instantly, his energy hits her back, and she once again senses that she's being held back. Squinting her eyes, trying to get a deeper reading, she then turns around, and asks, "Are you going to say good morning?"
"Yeah! Of course! I'm just waking up. I need my coffee first," he says, as he pours his coffee. Adding sugar and creamer to his coffee, he then looks up at her, and says, "How did you sleep? I heard you moving around in middle of the night. What were you doing?"
"I wasn't doing much. I was just tossing and turning for a little bit," she says, as the recent vision and Geo lightening up in her space replays in her head. As she takes a sip of her coffee, she watches him lean on the kitchen counter, and swirls his coffee. With him taking a drink, she then says, "I couldn't sleep."
"You should of came up to bed then," he says, as he then walks into the living room, and turns on the television. As she listens to him sit down on the couch, she stares out into the dining room, and senses that he's hiding something. Trying to read what he's up to, the energy hits her. Sensing that it's not a woman, she then walks into the living room, and sits on the couch next to him. Setting her coffee on the coaster on the coffee table, she then grabs the remote from his hands, and then tells him, "I'm going to change the channel. Do you mind?"
"No! Not at all."
As she surfs the channel, she asks, "What are you doing today?"
"Nothing much," he says, as she finds something to watch. As puts the remote on the coffee table, he then puts his head on her lap, and lays down. With her rubbing her fingers through his hair, she stares into his blue eyes, and as he looks up at her, she then says, "Don't get too comfortable. I going to work in a little bit."
"You do? I thought you had today off?" he asks, as he puts his hand around her waist, and snuggles his head into her lap even harder. With him lying there, squeezing her tight for a few seconds, he then says, "How much time do you have?"
"Just a couple of minutes. I need to work the morning shift," she says, as she keeps rubbing her fingers through his head.
With them sitting there watching television, she becomes comfortable without either one saying a word each other. As the thoughts of the journal sitting underneath them roams through her mind, she also thinks about what just happened a few hours ago. Trying to breakdown the recent vision she just had, and what they meant, she then closes her eyes, and waits to see if anything else comes up, as the thoughts of Kyle having a new sense of darkness comes to mind.
"Hey! Are you sleeping?" he asks, as he looks up at her.
"I just dozed off for a couple of minutes!" she says, as she opens her eyes, and looks at the clock. Seeing that it's time for her to get ready, she moves from underneath Kyle, and stands up and stretches. As she looks at him, and sees that the journal is out of view from under the couch, she then walks over to him, and leans over, and gives him a kiss, and tells him, "I'll be home in a few hours."
