"You got this easily, they are all here for you" Tom says, talking some courage into me as I hear the fans getting loud as the venue fills up
"I never performed infront of such a big crowd, this is crazy why did I agree with you" I say anxious
"Listen to me, you wrote an entire album in a span of a month with tons of singles extra that you hopefully will release someday. Now go out there and show the world what you're capable off" he says and I peek through a gap between the curtains, scanning the crowd. I take a deep breath and pick all of my courage together.
"Lets do this" I say and grab the microphone from the table, giving the sound technician a sign to begin the first song which is shes all I wanna be
I perform the first song while moving up and down the stage with excitement waving at the crowd and holding some hands of the fans in the front row and I finish the song
"How are we doing tonight Monza!!!" I shout and the crowd screams up
"Wonderful wonderful, this is the first time that im performing at such a big venue. But I still want this entire place to be filled with love so I will be playing an unreleased song from my upcoming album its called Slow it down. It's about someone Ive come to care about lots" I say and suddenly spot a pair of familiar eyes in the crowd... Arthur...
I turn to the side of the stage and look at Tom full of fear and he points to a different side of the crowd with a Dutchman staring at me with his blue eyes
"I hope you enjoy" I finally finish the sentence
The music starts playing and I start singing the lyrics
"'Id never met you, but I wanted to invite you to the party, Then you walked in with those blue eyes, never stolen by nobody And they flicker to the future, for a moment, I could picture. Then you touch me and I come back, and we're talking on the staircase, 'Bout your big dreams on the big screens" I sing, luckily theres only one person in the crowd who knows that it's exactly about him and another one that thinks that it is about him
I finish the song filled with relief as the crowd enjoys every second of it
"Thank you so much" I say heartfelt
"Okay so for this night, you are allowed to pick the cover and if I know it I will sing it" I say and the crowd starts screaming artist's names, Taylor Swift being the loudest by far
"Taylor Swift it is which song?" I say and pick out a random fan to choose the song and hold the microphone towards her "the way I loved you" she shouts and the crowd agrees
"Okay come on lets hear it" I say and sign a thumbs up to the sound technician to play the song
I look at Arthur singing the first lines, directing the lyrics to him but as the chorus approaches I realise I relate to much to the lyrics as my eyes land on Max again
"And I feel perfectly fine, but I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain and its 2am and I'm cursing your name. So in love that you act insane and that's the way I loved you" I snap out of the eye contact with Max and look at the entire crowd for the rest of the song moving away from all the relationship drama and focusing on my show
"Okay have any of you ever been in a toxic relationship?" I ask the fans and some people start screaming
"Well this song is for you, let me hear it for Exes" I announce the next song
The night continues and im about to reach the last song
"Sadly this is the end of the night... I will sing one more song for you all and this one will come out in two weeks and its called Bittersweet" I say as the music begins to play
