As the car stops I wake up, my head leaning against Max' shoulder who is asleep aswell
"Were here" the driver says and I wake Max up, Lando wakes up by the voice of the taxi driver
"Thank you have a great night" I say and follow Max out of the Car, into the cold infront of the hotel
"Im exhausted" Charles says and lead the way inside
"Makes two of us" Lando says and I smile at Max who is looking at me with sleepy eyes
"Yeah I'm going to fall asleep so fast" I say and press the elevator button and the doors open instantly and we step inside, Lando presses the button the button for the 7th floor and I press the button for the 6th one, making the decision to stay at Toms and My room
"It was great tonight, thanks for having me" I tell the three of them as we get to my floor
"You're always welcome to join man" Lando says as I step out "I'll see you all soon. Goodnight" I add and Max gives me a small little wave before the doors shut and I turn around and walk to my room, taking the keycard out of my wallet and unlocking the door, surprisingly the lights are still on
"You're back! Great" Tom says to excited to see me
"Yeah, sorry I lost track of time" I say and take off my shoes and jacket before washing my hands
"Thats okay, there are videos of you going viral tho, performing 10:35 live" Tom says sounding judgy
"Listen Oscar and Lando kept asking me to perform a new song, at least I waited till it was officially out" I defend myself
"Im not mad, its good, people are loving it" Tom says excited about his work, its the only song on the album he did the most work for so it's a big deal for him
"So how did it go? I saw Arthur earlier, did he leave earlier?" He asks me, taking me by surprise by that question
"I... eh" I stutter not know how to break the news to him "He wasn't there" I tell him
"Oh why that?" Tom asks further
"We broke up" I mumble which he didn't understand
"What, sorry I didn't understand that"
"Arthur broke up with me" I say again and Tom looks at me confused
"When? What happened?" He asks
"After the concert in Monza, he told me he knew my songs weren't about him but someone else" I admit 2 days late
"And you didn't say anything? Im disappointed" Tom says "are you okay tho? Holding up okay?"
"Yeah I'm great, he just reacted badly seeing me on track and Max kind of punched him" I say and Tom lets out a laugh
"Sorry, I would've loved to see that... he's not in trouble is he?"
"No, I don't think Arthur is going to tell anyone" I say and sit down on the edge of my bed
"But... if Max was the one that hit him... are you and him..." Tom asks suspecting the obvious
I smile instantly hearing him mention it
"We're trying and it's going great, I think we might slowly be taking things to the next level" I smile stupidly
"That information you can keep to urself" Tom chuckles
"Sorry, im just... I am just really happy, our relationship is far from perfect, but I love it... I love him" I say unable to contain my excitement
"You look great, better then how you were with Arthur and Theo" Tom replies
"I also overheard him talking with Lando, he wants to find a way to go public, without losing his job or getting massive backlash" I tell Tom and he looks at me acting hurt
"Lando knew before I did?" Tom shouts
"Listen I was gonna tell you after the race but Max asked me to stay at his place and I couldn't resist and I may have passed out on his bed aswell"
"God Dylan, you're living a really crazy life. Anything else you wanna drop on me?" Tom asks me
"Nope, thats all" I say and grab my change of clothes so I can go to sleep and change in the bathroom and brush my teeth
"So when are you gonna see him again?" Tom asks nosy
"No clue" I say and see my phone light up with a notification from Max

A smile instantly forms on my face as I start typing a reply that I can't leave Tom again
"What did he say?" Tom asks, suspecting who the message is from
"He asked me to stay over for the night, I'm quickly telling him that I can't" I respond and continue typing
"Why can't you?" Tom asks me and raises an eyebrow
"I can't just leave you by yourself all the time" I say
"Just go to his room Dylan, ill be asleep anyways. I won't be missing you when im knocked out" Tom says
"No I'll feel bad, I've been away all day already"
"If you stay I will feel bad so go, I'll see you tomorrow" Tom says and gestures to the door
"You sure?" I ask
"Listen, you'd be texting back and forth the entire time so go enjoy it" he says nearly pushing me out of the room
"Alright goodnight" I say, slipping into my shoes and walking the one floor up the stairs with my phone and keycard in my hand and knock on his door
I hear him approach the door and unlock it slowly opening it
"What are you doing here?" He asks and I walk inside of his room and close the door so no one would hear us, looking at him, taking in his shirtless and freshly showered body
"Tom told me to go to your room, basically kicked me out so here I am" I smile and walk to his bed to sit down on it
"Oh so you didn't wanna see me?" Max ask
"I did, I just felt bad for being gone all day"
"Well, im glad that Tom send you here" Max says and bends down to connect our lips, something that we both wanted to do all night
"I can't believe what we did in the taxi" I say, somehow my head doesn't want to believe it
"I can believe it and it felt really fucking good" Max bites his lip as he looks down on me as he stands up again
"What if someone saw it? Both of our careers are on the line there. We can't do that anymore its to risky" I tell him serious and he shakes his head laughing at me
"Where's the fun in that?" He smiles and walks to the other side of the bed, placing his phone and watch on the nightstand before getting into bed
"Theres fun in not ruining our career?" I say
"Come on, loosen up a bit. I admit today was reckless but next time we can dial it down a couple notches, a bit safer for you" he says and I feel taunted
"Oh don't put this on me, you want the risk so you gotta face the consequences that come from it" I defend myself and get into bed aswell
"You can't tell me today didnt give you a rush of adrenaline" he says, moving closer to me and I stay quiet not wanting to accept that I like the risk eventho I know that it was wrong on so many levels
"I see" he says, his face in my neck as I can feel his breath against my skin, before I feel his arms around my body, pulling my back against his front
"Goodnight" I say accepting my defeat
"Goodnight Dyl, love you" Max says and places a kiss on my shoulder, breaking my act of being strong
"I love you too Max" I respond and pull his hand up to kiss it and intertwine our hands on my chest before we fall asleep
