"Max?" I repeat as he doesn't respond
"Where are you?" He asks and I look around
"Just outside of the garage, we were just grabbing some food, how did it go?" I ask again and see him exit the garage with his race suit wrapped around his waist as he looks around spot me and which he does once I wave my hand
"Max whats going on?" I asks again, confused about the entire situation and he hangs up walking towards me
"Whats up?" Victoria asks walking up to me not having seen Max yet and I remove my phone from my ear staring at Max
"I don't know" I say and she looks the same way I am seeing Max
"Did he say anything?" She asks and I shake my head
Max gets closer and I start moving into his direction as-well
"Max whats goin-" I ask once we're close enough but he interrupts my sentence by grabbing my face and connects our lips while we're surrounded by hundreds of people that are walking by and witnessing our kiss, the kiss feels like an eternity, like there were fireworks above us
"What about.." I ask him
"Nothing can come between us now" he smiles and I hug him tightly
"I don't even know what to say" I say relieved a tear flowing down my face
"Hey no crying" he says and holds me by my shoulders and looks at me "I also got another surprise for you" he smiles and I raise an eyebrow and look at Victoria who is filming or taking pictures of this whole scene
"What is it?" I ask him
"We got 45 minutes until qualifying and they want you to perform for 30 minutes on the podium by the pit grandstands" he tells me
"Are you serious? I haven't practiced any songs live" I say scared
"Listen to me Dyl, you're so extremely talented and I know everyone will love you, not as much as I do but they'll love you" he tells me
"Max Verstappen I'm so incredibly proud to be your boyfriend" I say and kiss him again and he starts blushing
"So go ahead, show the world what you're capable off" Max says
"I will, after I ate this hot dog" I laugh and take it out of Victorias hand
"Im so proud of you brother" she says and hugs him
"Im just scared of what our parents will say, it will not take long until these pictures will he all over the internet" Max responds
"Fuck what they got to say, you're happy thats all that matters, now go get your pole position" she says and pushes him playfully
"I got my good luck charm so it wont be a problem" he says and gives me a quick kiss
"I'll see you on the big screen Dyl" he shouts while running back to the garage and I haven't stopped smiling for a single moment
"So, what did I tell you" Victoria smiles
"I know... I just can't believe it"
We finish our hot dogs and I grab a water bottle on the way to the stage Max described to me
"Hey Tom, I need you to quickly send me the Music for all my songs on the album so I can perform them in about 5 minutes" I say as soon as he picks up
"What?" He asks confused
"No question just email them to me, I need to get ready" I say
"Okay on it, explain it later tho" he says and I hang up thinking about Sara and going on her Instagram and using the call feature on there
"Hello?" She says
"Hi there Sara, its me Dylan... would you like another little surprise?" I say with a smile looking around if I can spot her
"I... I don't know, you already did so much" she says shyly
"Come meet me at the back of the Redbull garage" I say calmly "you're going to love it"
"I will be on my way" she says and after a minute I see her walking towards me
"These are my parents" she says introducing me to them
"Its great to meet you, Sara told me about what she went through with her friends and that she got you to come here just to meet me, if you don't mind I would like her to join me on stage. The two of you are also invited to go there but I just want to give Sara an unforgettable experience since she already had to go through so much and I know how much it can drag someone down" I tell them and they seem so happy
"Of course whatever makes our little one happy... thank you so much, she hasn't been happy like this since she found you on the internet you've changed her life" her mum tells me and I smile
"Im so happy to hear that... so are you ready Sara?" I ask her and she nods
"Great, then just follow me" I smile and walk towards the stage, explaining to he situation to the security to let Sara and her Parents past and we make it to the stage
"Okay, I will go up there and get you in a bit okay?" I tell her and she and her parents nod and I go to the DJ and hand him my phone with my songs on there
"Ill say the name of the song out loud so you know which one to play" I say and grab the ear pieces off his table and he nods and I grab the microphone and run up the stage and the crowd applauds me
"Hello everyone, for the people who don't know me, my name is Dylan Van Hout, I'm a singer and songwriter from Belgium and recently on the charts with 5 songs from my debut album. I only got told about this opportunity like 10 minutes ago so I couldn't prepare much... however... I met this girl today who has gone through a lot, yet she's here, happy and smiling like nothing ever happened and it showed me that she is so incredibly strong... I will introduce you to her hold on" I say and disappear from the stage again and hold out my hand to Sara "go on, Im there with you every step" I tell her and she grabs my hand
"Give it up for Sara everyone" I scream into the microphone just as we both walk on stage and the crown cheers her on
"Okay so, people you know what me and Sara hate the most in this planet?" I ask the crowd and they start mumbling
"We hate a fake ass bitch, isn't that right Sara?" I ask her and she laughs while the crowd cheers us on
"Okay so this song is were not alike" I announce and the music starts playing and I sing the intro while siting next to Sara but once chorus starts I get up and jump around the stage to get to crowd going and I run to the DJ and ask for a transition to greedy which runs smoothly
I get Sara to walk around stage with me and she gets all the love she deserves
"Alright, give another applause for Sara" I say and we all start applauding her
"Just wait with your parents ill be out once im done okay?" i tell her and she walks off the stage
I finish my time and get a loud applause before I run off stage with a rush of adrenaline and walk towards Sara and her Parents
"So Sara how does it feel to be a star" I smile
"It's incredible, I'm never going to forget about this day" she says
"Listen, its always days like these that are important. Not the bad days okay?" I tell her
"Im sure she told you about the passes for tomorrow, you both will obviously get some too. You did an incredible job raising Sara" I tell her parents
"Thank you so much for doing all this for our girl" her mum says again
"Its nothing really, I hope you enjoy qualifying today. I sadly have to go back to the Redbull garage" I tell them and they nod
"I will see you tomorrow, enjoy yourselves" I wave at them and walk back towards the garages with a huge smile on my face, certain to get those new songs released...
