If you've been following me for a little while you'd know that I have a puppy named Leah. She's a pure bread German Shepherd and is my family's little psychopath. She might look cute (Which she does) but she has the power to be the world's biggest pain in the butt.
This story happened quite recently and it was with Logan. I have a friend named Mia and she's a month younger than me and she has a little brother named Xavier who is eight. They like to ice skate and Lainee is best friends with Mia so they always hang out.
Usually I go with them but I wasn't feeling up to it and decided to stay home with Logan and Leah. Because my mom had to drive Lainee there she asked Logan and I to babysit for Leah, to which we agreed.
They left and Logan and I just chilled with Leah. I decided to watch some Teen Wolf and got in about half an episode before Leah decided to walk over my laptop and distract me. Logan was busy beating God Of War: Ragnarok (Again) so I played with Leah a little.
After she got bored, she chewed her bone and took a nap. Basically the entire time Logan and I watched her she was a total saint. Logan took Leah out to go to the bathroom a few times and she took a few naps.
Eventually the three of us ended up on the couch, playing Minecraft while Leah chewed her bone next to me. When Lainee and my mom got home we told them what happened and my mom was happy we'd taken care of her.
A few days ago Logan and I were in the same situation and we thought to ourselves, We took care of Leah once, we can do it again, right?
Wrong.
I don't know what was going through Leah's brain but she decided to trick us and wreak havoc. Leah wouldn't stop barking when my mom and Lainee left and because my dad works the night shift we had to stay quiet so Logan and I took her outside to let her get all her energy out.
That didn't quite work. It just made her more energetic and more of a pain in the butt. The cycle went of Logan and I chasing Leah around the house and us getting nothing done. Eventually she fell asleep in Lainee's room so Logan and I just watched a few YouTube videos.
Eventually she woke up and we waited for my mom and Lainee to get home. Logan thought of the brilliant idea of feeding Leah WAY more food than she normally gets so that was fun. My mom and Lainee got home and when we told them both what happened, they both laughed at us.
