Dreams can either be a way of God trying to communicate with you, or your brain is being weird. In this chapter I'm gonna be talking about my religious dreams. Maybe I'll do a chapter on random dreams, maybe I won't.
If you're not a Christian you might not understand some of these dreams so I'll explain what I think the meaning of them is along the way. I'm gonna start off with the dreams that probably don't have a lot of meaning to the ones that make me go, "Yeah, something is going on and I don't know if it's good."
The first one wasn't very vivid and I don't remember it clearly but from what I remember I was standing in a big, white room and in front of me was a white horse, its color so bright it made the room glow and the horse itself became barely visible. Someone was sitting on the horse with armor and a weapon, either a sword or a bow, but I couldn't see their face from the glow of the horse.
According to Revelation 6:2 it reads, "And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer."
However, according to Revelation 6:8 it reads, "So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with a sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth."
Because I can't remember what the weapon was I don't quite know which horse was in the dream.
This next dream had a lot of things going on but the main part I wanna talk about is another horse that gets spoken about in Revelation. In the dream, I got run over by a massive black horse but I was okay.
I told my parents about it the next morning and they immediately talked about the black horse from Revelation and what it meant.
According to Revelation 6:5-6 it reads, "When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, 'Come and see.' So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of black scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, 'A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."
If you don't understand you can go read the book of Revelation and hopefully it'll make sense. Out of the sixty-six books of the Bible, I think Revelation is my favorite so I highly recommend it to you.
If you don't feel like reading it at the moment and wanna read it later, I'll just tell you that the meaning of the black horse is basically famine. My parents were a bit worried but there wasn't anyone on the horse so I was sure I was fine and it didn't mean anything.
This one doesn't have anything to do with horses and unlike the first dream I remember it very well and can explain every detail to you. I was standing in an alley somewhere facing the dead end. It was your typical alley; the walls made of bricks, news papers scattered at the end of it, a dirty floor.
I wasn't in the alley per say, I was more standing in the entrance. I had the perspective that I was standing in front of the sun so the light reflected off of me and shone in the alley in front of me. However, the sun was getting increasingly brighter and judging by the color of the light it seemed to be during the sunset.
As the sun got brighter it suddenly got windier. The papers in the back of the alley flew around and my hair whipped all around my face. I heard people screaming and wailing behind me but for some reason I couldn't move.
I stayed put where I was and stared down the alley. I heard a man shout from behind me and say, "Jesus is coming back! Repent! Forgive Him!"
The first two sentences definitely make sense. In Revelation, it explains how in the future, the Rapture will happen and take all the believing and faithful Christians and leave all the unbelievers on earth. Then will come The Seven Year Tribulation, with seven years of suffering on earth until Jesus will return and everyone will be judged.
Thus, creating a new Heaven and a new earth, with no sin, no pain, and no death.
I'm sure you already know what repenting is but if you don't know I'm glad to explain it to you. Repentance is basically confessing to God that you've sinned and are asking for forgiveness.
The part of what the man was shouting was the last sentence, which honestly doesn't make sense. "Forgive Him." Why would us sinners forgive Jesus, who was perfect and did nothing wrong? I don't have the answers but if you have any ideas I'm all ears.
Well, that's all I got for now. If you have any dreams similar to mine then I'd love to hear about them because I love learning about the Rapture and the end of the world. Hope you enjoyed this chapter and please vote and comment.
