Jurassic Craft

Chapter 1

(Valerie's P.O.V)

I sat in the leaves and watched as Carflo held his gun and watched the sky.
"How much longer?"
I grumbled as I rubbed my eyes. he sighed and looked back at me.
"It shouldn't be long now. They should be here any second."
He said turning away and looking at the sky. I sighed and leaned my back on the hard bark of the tree. I looked down and pulled out my journal and flipped through the pages and looked through the lists of dino DNA that we extracted using the cultivators. Suddenly a low hum filled the air.
"Carflo is that what I think it is?"
I said crawling over to his side. Sure enough, I could see a helicopter flying in our direction.
"All right now all I have to do is..."
He looked down the scope and pulled the trigger. A small rocket shot from the barrel and sped toward the helicopter. I covered my eyes as both the helicopter and rocket flew on the direct path of the sun and I heard a loud boom. Looking up I saw the helicopter continue flying as if nothing happen.
"Darn it! It didn't work."
Carflo growled under his breath. I sighed and grabbed my bag.
"Come on. If I were them I would probably land. Let's was toward that village not to far from here."
I said as I jumped down onto a vine and started to make my way down. He nodded and followed me down the vines and to the jungle floor.
{le time skip to the village}
We finally reached the edge of the jungle biome and saw the light of the village come into view. Pulling out my sniper, I looked ahead.
"I don't see anything."
I sighed looking at the village homes.
"I need closer."
Before Carflo could stop me, I ran over to a nearby hill and started to search again. I thought I saw movement but, it was just a mob and I put the sniper down to come face to face with a angry zombie. It jumped on me and I pushed it off. Pulling out my sword, I leaned forward and slashed at it with my iron sword. It soon turned into dust. Carflo was soon at my side with his sword out.
"We should just wait until it's morning."
He said helping me stand. I sighed realizing we would have to wait.
"Alright let's set up camp."
