Chapter 27

Something went wrong with my chapter and it didn't post the while thing. I think I fixed it.

As we flew through the air in silence, I felt Carflo grab my hand.
He must be nervous... I don't blame him..
I looked over at him and gave him a reassuring smile, even though I wasn't to sure why we agreed to this; it could be a trap.
"We're almost there!"
Chris yelled from the cockpit. Cyanide and Kaili pulled the guns up and started to load them.
"Ok, so we don't know what we'll find down in the cave, but whatever it is just be ready to fight, understood?"
Cyanide said looking up to me and Carflo. We nodded and looked to each other.
"We can do this! Right?"
I said somewhat confidently. He laughed and nodded.
"We can do it. Whatever 'it' is. Let's just stick together."
He said side glancing at the others.
Ever so slowly, the helicopter started to desend and I looked down below.

Below us, I could see a cave coming into view. The entrance was huge and looked as if it had been never explored by man or creature.
"This is it, that's where we are going in."
Kaili said looking out the window and staring down.
"Now, when we get there, I want both of you to do exactly what you're told, understand?"
Carflo and I nodded.
"Good, now follow me."
As soon as the helicopter touched ground Kaili hopped out, with us not to far behind her. I power walked to keep pace with her, my sword klinking against my leg with each step I took. As soon as we entered the mouth of the cave, Kaili halted to a stop.
"Hold up a minute..."
We stopped directly behind her and glanced around. The entrance was rather dark and if we'd taken a few more steps, it would be complete darkness.
"Chris, Cyanide, take point."
Kaili said pointing in two different directions and slowly started to advance forward.
I placed a hand on the hilt of my sword.
"Carflo, I've got a bad feeling about this place...."
As if on cue, several mobs lurched from the shadows in our direction. Instictively, I dodged and swung outward at it with my sword, slicing into a zombies rotten skin, and hearing it blood sizzle on my blade. It groaned as power cursed through into its veins.
Quickly, I quickly commanded it to turn on it against its own kind. I glanced to see the others fighting off mobs as well. Cyanide had just unloaded a clip of ammo into a skeleton, Chris and Kaili were destroying spiders, and Carflo was finishing off another zombie.
Soon enough, the mobs seem to vanish, leaving no trace of their existence behind.
"Is everyone ok?"
Cyanide said breathing hard. I nodded and glanced to Carflo who looked over a me and smiled a bit.
"Alright, let's continue forward."
This time Cyanide and Chris walked ahead of us while Kaili guided us through the dark.
That's when we came to the pictures that were painted across the walls....

Yep that's how I'm ending this chapter. And yes i know I haven't been here in a while and yes I know I  should write more often. I've been lazy and have put this off for to long.

I'm determined to finish this story before New Years!

But whatever. I'm just kinda happy that you guys are still reading my story... I never expected it to get this far, and I never expected for you guys to hang around for this long. For all you people still reading.
