Chapter 16

As I burst out of the door, several velociraptors ran by toward the sound if gunfire.
"I'll go this way, you go and guard Chris."
I nodded as Carflo pulled on his helmet.
"Stay safe..."
He said before running off toward the gun fire with sword in its sheath and sniper in hand. I quickly ran over to Chris's prison to make sure he was still there, he was still there but he look ready to fight.
"Why don't you open this door and fight me like a soldier?!"
I held up my sword and pointed it threateningly at him.
"One: I'm not a soldier. Two: All this violence is because of you two idiot scientist who don't know when to quit."
He fell silent and crossed his arms. I rolled my eyes and turned to go help Carflo.
"Don't move."
A girl stood in front of me with a bow in my face, ready to fire a killing headshot. She had brown hair, wore a grey jacket with leggings, and had a determined look in her eye to do what she came here to do.
"Kaili? Man, am I glad to see a familiar face."
Chris said from behind me. She nodded off in the direction of the cage.
"Let him go..."
I stared her down for a moment before turning and fiddling with the lock of the door. As I opened the door to let Chris out, Cyanide came flying out of nowhere, literally! He landed next to 'Kaili' and looked over to her.
"Seems like you've met Valerie."
He said with a slight smirk, he was enjoying watching this. I growled slightly at him.
"You people shouldn't have come here in the first place, now you've called another person here so you can outnumber us. That just proves that we scare you..."
Cyanide frowned.
"Is that your goal... to scare us? We'll I can tell you this, you don't..."
I felt anger well up in me and I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm myself because when I got mad something's things got out of hand. Opening my eyes, I could see them debating on wether to shoot me or not.
"Put the guns down or I'll blow your base to bits!!!"
Carflo's voice rang out from over us. A bat landed near me and morphed into Carflo; Kaili looked a bit taken back.
"Spare us your empty threat!"
Chris said as Cyanide tossed him his gun. Carflo smiled mischievously.
"Empty threat? We've been in your base on multiple accounts, who said we didn't leave a few surprises hidden here and there."
I could tell Carflo was bluffing but went along with it and smiled. Carflo was holding a pair of binoculars that slightly looked like a detonator from one side.
"If you shoot, I'll blow up your equipment, your radios, and even your dinosaurs..."
Cyanide growled at us.
"You wouldn't..."
I smiled.
"But we would... Try and test us."
Cyanide let his gun fall to his side.
"Come on guys, let's get out of here." Cyanide grabbed Chris by his arm and let him hitch a ride on the jet pack as they all flew off. Once they were out of sight, Carflo looked over at me and smiled.
"You ok?"
I let out a shaky breath.
"I think so... that was close."
Looking in the direction they flew off in I swore to myself is send them straight to the Nether if it was the last thing I did.

Hey what's going on guys, Pokécrafter312 here with another chapter on Jurassic Craft. All I have to say is, wow, a lot of chaos and drama going on in the world of Jurassic craft today. I literally ranted to my mom about not having ideas for chapters and then write this. Wow... I should rant more often XD.
