Jurassic Craft

Chapter 6

I landed on the gravel path of the village and morphed back into myself. I saw Carflo placing down fencing on the side of a house.
"I'm back, what'd I miss?"
I said running over to him. He dropped the fence in his hand and met me half way and tackled me to the ground.
"Don't ever go somewhere without telling me again."
He chuckled as I pushed him off.
"I'm Valerie, I do what I want."
I said standing up and waving my hands in front of his face. He caught my hand and looked at it, I noticed the burn marks were still on my hand.
"Whoa, what happened?"
He said with concern in his voice as he looked over my injured hand. I shrugged,
"Just a bit of a electric shock that's all."
He looked up at me with concern.
"You sure your fine?"
I nodded and he let go of my hand. His eyes suddenly lit up and he smiled.
"I have to show you something. Follow me."
He said pulling me down the gravel side walk and into a house with the walls covered in bookshelves. Leading me to the corner he started down a ladder and I followed to come into a open room.
"Gez Carflo, I was gone for only a day and this is what you did."
I chuckles as I pulled a sword off of a weapon rack.
"Not only did I do this but I also got this."
He held up a tiny purple egg. I put my hand over my mouth and slowly cupped the egg in my hand.
"Is this what I think it is?"
I said turning the egg and examining its light purple shell. He nodded.
"Yep, that there is a baby triceratops egg and soon it will hatch."
Carefully I placed the egg beside a torch to keep it warm.
"Well then we need to start working on a pin."
He nodded and started pulling materials out of his bag.
"Ok so we got some stone walls, some wodden fences, some iron bars, and some gates."
He said placing them in different piles. I avoided the iron bars and grabbed the stone walls and a some gates.
"Alright let's get started."
We soon headed up and got focused into building pens.
"So where did you go when you ran off?"
I heard Carflo question from behind me as I placed another wall down.
"I just had to run to the house and get a few things that's all."
"Like what?"
I smiled and pulled out his sword. It had a red blade and was very strong. It was said that it would never brake and it had the power to summon lighting. I threw it to him hilt first and watched as he looked at it in disbelief and then ran over and hugged me.
"Oh my gawd!!! Thank you!"
He swung his sword around and swung at a cow and I watched as it was killed by a beam of lighting. I rolled my eyes and pulled out my sword. I ran my finger down its blue blade. My sword could never break just like Carflo's except mine didn't summon lighting. Mine I could use it to control anything, from mobs to people. All it took was a single hit with my blade and they would soon fall under my control. If they want to fight, we'll give them a fight.
