Elyk opened his eyes, he saw a wall of fire in front of him and stumbled back. He was back in the present. Elyk could see the shape of Akooza on the other side of the fire. He observed things and saw how the fire was actually the vines, set on fire by something he didn't know. He could hear Akooza breathing heavily, Akooza panicked looking at his hands while shaking. Elyk was confused since he didnt think Akooza had fire magic.

"Akooza calm down!" Oota shouted. She had emerged from the bush, her reddish brown hair glistening in the light of the fire. Elyk stared at her through the flames. He took note of her pointy ears and well, she must've been the elf with fire magic. Akooza was panting sweat dripping down his face, his hair all messed up. He was also trembling, Oota grabbed Akoozas shoulders and shook him, Akooza relaxed and looked at her finally coming back to his senses.

"Akooza?" Elyk muttered, his tone frantic. His cheeks were pale and he could hardly see Akooza through the ever growing wall of flames. Elyk stepped back trying to stay away from the fire and not get burnt alive.

"Akooza are you okay!?" Oota yelled from where Akooza was, "Did the human hurt you!?" she accused. Elyk winced at those words did she really think he was that bad.

'She thinks I hurt him?' Elyk asked himself inside and looked down.

"No no! Elyk didn't hurt me, I lost control and attacked him! Is Elyk okay?" Akooza yelped worriedly. He sounded like he was very concerned for Elyks well being. He was still breathing heavily struggling to regain his composure, he looked at the fire and his eyes widened with fear. Oota gently sat her hand on Akoozas shoulder again.

"He's behind the fire, I don't know if he's okay but I stopped you from killing him, I knew you would feel bad for it if you did," Oota muttered. She didn't care for Elyk at all; she thought he was some filthy human, that's how all the elves in Tapoka saw humans. Akooza feared for Elyks safety and didn't want to be the main reason Elyk, the man who had saved him in the beginning, died.

"He's behind the fire?" Akooza panicked. His eyes sparkled with fear and wiped his nose. "I have to do something about it!" His eyes lit up with a determined look he clenched his fists and took deep breaths channeling his magic again, the green aura surrounded and gathered around him once again, the green glow spread across the ground and then large roots started to poke through the dirt they were thick, large wooden roots from trees, the trees around grew larger and towered higher then any tree Elyk had seen before. The roots thrashed and made up a cloud of dust the dust extinguished the flames making smoke rise into the night sky, the embers of the fire died down and the last of the sparks flew off the roots dug back into the earth leaving large rough broken terrain. The roots some protruding out of the ground, large bits or rock scattered, the once beautiful park was nothing but rough land and massive trees. Akooza was panting, he stepped back the smoke clouding his vision.

"Akooza!" Oota scolded, she looked at him worriedly. And Akooza glanced back at her.

"I'm sorry! I had to save Elyk!" Akooza responded with a high pitched voice. His hair was covered in ash, as well as his white T-shirt. He looked at the smoke with concern, hoping when it cleared all would be well.Elyk opened his eyes, he saw a wall of fire in front of him and stumbled back. He was back in the present.
