The family entered the huge mansion. Everywhere were people in noble clothing. The highest highs of the wizarding world were gathered here. "Why are so many people here?" Rebecca asked  her father, "I thought it was just a dinner. What is going on?" Orion looked down on his daughter. "You will find out."

Regulus and Rebecca followed their parents further into the mansion. "Orion, Walburga welcome," Abraxas Malfoy, an old grey wizard, greeted them with a huge smile on his lips. "Regulus so wonderful to see you," he shook his hand. "And Rebecca my sweet child. I haven't seen you since you were a little cup." Abraxas kissed carefully her hand. She got an uneasy feeling and fastly took her hand away.

He chuckled amused at her reaction but Abraxas stepped to the side and let a tall younger version of Lucius take his place. The young man had his hands behind his bag and gave us all a little nod. "You already know my younger son Septimus right?" His father asked Rebecca. Arrogant Septimus let his eyes wander over her body. "Yes father we went to the same school and we were both in Slytherin." Rebecca nodded irritated. "Yes correct."

The older men laughed. Abraxas waved his hand at someone behind Rebecca. She turned her head and saw how Lucius stood almost right behind her. "That's my oldest son Lucius," Abraxas told proudly and rested his hand on his son's shoulder. "I don't think we have been introduced before," Lucius smirked and took Rebecca's hand. He gave her hand a soft kiss. She felt her knees getting weak and her head turned bright red. Why would he do that? She tried to control herself. "No we haven't," Rebecca cleared her throat, "what was your name again?" "Lucius," he said softly as he finally let go of her hand.

For a moment they had forgotten that their whole family was standing around them. They both took a step back from each other even tho they both would rather wrap themselves up around each other.

The older pure blood wizards had gone to get some drinks while the younger generation stood together. Lucius and Regulus were chatting over some things Rebecca didn't really understood. Suddenly a quirky voice interrupted them. "Hello cousins how are you? I'm so happy you could make it. Can I steal my fiancé for a minute?" Narcissa Black wrapped her hands around Lucius arms. "Cissy? Wait did you say fiancé?" Rebecca felt like her heart just fell out of her chest and all of her blood had left her head. She turned towards her always perfect cousin. With her perfect blonde hair and her perfect light blue dress. "Did no one tell you what we are celebrating today?" Narcissa started smiling with her also perfect teeth. "We are celebrating Lucius and my engagement."

Lucius looked like he would rather be at another place right now. He freed himself out of her grib. Narcissa looked uncomfortable at Lucius but she changed her facial expression immediately to a happy smile. "Your... Your engagement," Rebecca furrowed her brows. "Don't worry Rebecca. I heard Septimus is reserved for you," she whisperes even tho it was not necessary as Septimus was standing right next to them. He didn't even look slightly surprised.

"Aren't your excited?  We're gonna get married to these two amazing brothers", she said with a huge smile and red cheeks. Rebecca's mouth was slightly open. "Excuse me what?" On Cissys perfect forehead appeared small wrinkles. "Did no one tell you" "Tell me what? What is going on?" she said louder. "You should talk to your parents Becca. They are probably going to announce it all at dinner."
Horrified she looked in all of the faces that were around her. They all looked like they already knew about it. Was she the only one that didn't? Probably cause her parents knew she would have made a fuss about it.

Rebecca stepped away from the group and walked over to her mother and father who were talking to some rich looking people she didn't know. "Is that true what Cissy just told me?" She asked loudly. Her mother looked uncomfortable at those people. She cleared her throat and turned towards her daughter. "Don't make a scene..." she said in a calmly whisper. "I'm not making a scene I'm just asking when you were going to tell me that I am going to marry soon. Do you even know who Septimus is? Do you even checked what he did back when we were at school?" Rebecca said loudly.

Walburga took her daughter aside. "You will calm down now. We are going to eat now with those people and you will be quiet and sit still. You understand me?" There was no chance to discuss that subject now with her mother. "But mother..." Walburgers eyes got bigger. "Stop it. Now!" Her voice was still a whisper but not calm at all anymore.

After a few minutes had past they all had a seat and the plates appeared in front of them. Everyone ate except Rebecca. Her appetite was gone.
"Regulus I need some air. Can you..." Her twin nodded "Don't worry I got you," he interrupted her not looking up from his plate.

Quietly she sneaked outside into the garden. The estate, land or what ever you call it from the Malfoy family was huge. A whole city could be built on it. You could easily get lost inside the house or outside in the garden. She walked through the moonshine. The only thing you could hear was her shoes on the gravel stones.

Rebecca sat down on the next bench she could find. Far away from the house so she could cry alone. That was too much for one evening. What was going on? That only can be a bad dream. Was her cousin really going to marry her boyfriend? Do her parents really want her to marry the psychopath Septimus? Did Regulus really join the death eaters?

She burried her face in her hands. Rebecca's whole make up must be ruined while the tears didn't stop and her heart was hurting so much.

"Can I sit?" A familiar male voice asked.
