Lucius had taken the still in pain shaking Rebecca to the kitchen. He gave her a potion for the pain and another one that would heal her almost broken wrists. She sat down at the small table while Lucius prepared tea for them. She watched him how he was moving so elegant while wearing a casually pyjama and doing such a simple thing. His hair was held by a hair tie. He turned around and a few loose streaks were falling around his perfect face.

"Is it already better?" He asked as he put down the kettle. Rebecca nodded letting him look at her bruised wrists. His touch felt like a lightning went trough her body. They looked into each others eyes. There was the spark again. Their fingers were still touching. Gently he tuck her hair behind her ear to see more of her beautiful face. Their faces came closer and closer. Rebecca closed her eyes as she was ready to feel those butterflies again.

"I can't do this," he whispered as their lips almost touched. She opened her eyes.
"I love you. I will always love you and if we ever get a chance to be together again I will take it but I am married now. I'm going to be a father. Narcissa deserves a man that is faithful to her." He was right and that made her angry and sad at the same time. He got so mature. "I love you," she whispered and let go of his hands.

It was quiet between the two of them for a few seconds until Rebecca asked: "You were so quickly by my side. How..." Lucius interrupted her. "I couldn't sleep." Rebecca nodded. "Also Narcissa snores since she's pregnant," he chuckled but she didn't. His tone got serious again. "Im sorry." She took a sip out of her cup. "Oh don't apologise darling she's your wife now. I'm glad she makes you happy but," she paused, "I wish I was the one making you happy." "Rebecca..." "It's alright. Trust me. I think it's called right person wrong time. That happens. We're going to be fine." Her voice cracked a little but she stayed strong. Lucius gently touched her cheek with one hand. "I hope you're right," he whispers.

He brought her in a room closer to Narcissas and his bedroom. "You can sleep here if you want. It's closer to... me," he smiled. Rebecca was very tired so she thankfully laid down and fell asleep as soo as her head hit the pillow. Lucius wanted to go too but he sat down in a grey armchair that was standing in the corner of the room. The house-elf's were awake too to watch if Septimus thought about coming back but he wanted stay close to her. He watched her sleep peacefully.

On the next day Lucius brought Rebecca back to her family's home. "Are you sure you wanna come in?" Rebecca asked. "Yes I need to talk to your mother about what happened. She needs to listen to me." She nodded and let them inside. Together they went into the living room. Walburga was sitting there and almost passed out by the sight of them walking in. Together. "You two dare to come here?" She stood up. "Mrs Black I am here to tell you that the wedding of Rebecca and my brother is not going to happen. Yesterday my brother tried to do unspeakable things to Rebecca. My father does already know. Septimus is now banished."
Walburga didn't say a word but her mouth was slightly open. "I think you can go now," Rebecca said to Lucius. "Are you sure?" She nodded.

As Lucius had left Walburga stated to talk again. "You ruined the wedding. Of course you had to." Rebecca widened her eyes. "He tried to rape me." Her mother put on her cloak. "We all have to make sacrifices Rebecca. You wouldn't be the first woman in the world to get touched without consent." Rebecca couldn't believe what her mother was saying. "Your father is at the hospital since yesterday. I will visit him now. He does not want to see you."
"WHAT?" Rebecca said angry, "that's a lie." "It's probably your fault. You made him sick." How could a mother say so many terrible things. Walburga went away.

Rebecca looked at her wrists. They looked already completely healed. She couldn't believe what just happened in those two days. She was full of rage and let her emotions take over her. Her wand was hidden in a hidden space behind a portrait. She moved it and took it out. Energy entered her whole body that made her already feel a bit better.
