The blaring sound of that god-awful alarm jolted Seraphine awake. Looking around the small white room,her dark eyes cast on the outfit that was neatly hung on the door met her vision. She looked around her small bedroom every inch covered head to toe in band and movie posters, the early morning light shining a golden aura through the window of the second-story room. Letting out a sleep-deprived sigh, rising from the comforting cocoon of the double bed. First day of the new year.

Making her way to the wardrobe changing from last night's sleepwear into today's outfit, the black maxi skirt hung loosely around her waist, the bright red crop top emphasising her chest area and making her bronzed skin even more captivating. Doing a small twirl in front of the mirror to check every hair was in place, and that all her rings were on the right fingers. Grabbing the tan tote bag that sat neatly by her desk, Sera ran down the stairs joining her mum in the kitchen seating herself on the barstool mindlessly chewing away at her vegemite toast.

Loud footsteps thumped down the stairs, and the face-to-match appeared. Her older twin Anthony appeared looking like had woken up 2 seconds ago, the bright blue cap n doubt to hide the bed hair he didn't have time to style.

''Good morning family of mine'' leaning into Sera practically devouring half the toast in her hand.

''OI! Get your toast Anthony!'' she pulled the bread away glaring daggers into his back as he made his way over to their mum placing a small kiss on her temple.

''Tax for driving you to school Sera, got to make it up some way'' Slinging his bag over his shoulder he jingled his keys in her face, the rubber 'Thrasher' keychain grazing her nose lightly. She swatted her brother away standing to join him at the front door.

''Be home for dinner tonight you two, no delaying'' their mum's voice echoes through the halls. She laced her platform doc Martens holding her tote bag at her shoulder.

''We will Mum'' With that the pair were out the door making their way to an obnoxiously green car, placing herself in the front she reached for the AUX cord scrolling through songs determining what would be the best choice for this morning arrival.

''We're picking up Spider, he just texted'' Her head shot to her brother, her dark curls whipping her face. ''What can't string cheese drive himself?" she gave him an intense eye roll, her full lashes fluttering. ''Come on Seraphine, Spider's not all bad. Plus he said he'd pay for half my gas, shit's expensive as." With that Ant pulled out of their driveway heading to his house.

She stared out her window, Ant's head bopping in her rearview, she let her mind wander thinking about the new year to come. She felt the familiar jolt, pulling into his driveway. She shook her head snapping out of her thoughts. There he stood, wearing that stupid smirk, god she hated that face. He approached the car sliding his way into the back seat, his cologne immediately invading her senses making her dizzy.

"Good Morning whores! everyone ready for our first day back at Satan's realm" the blonde was practically shouting in her ear, leaning over the driver seat and clasping his hands over her twin's shoulders. Ant turned his head giving his best friend a toothy grin, Ant pulled out of the driveway taking the route straight to school. She turned her focus to her phone, tapping away at her phone like it was important business, with the spam of messages from her friends you'd think it was. But Sera couldn't shake the eyes of a certain blonde boring into the back of her head.

Pulling into the student parking area she double-checked her appearance, fixing her lip gloss before the trio filed out of the car, making their way to the front gates of Hartley High the new year beginning. She turned to Anthony linking her arm through his and dragging him through the gates, she turned to him smiling brightly.

"I'll meet you back at the car after school yeah? I got to find Quinni and Darren" She softly pinched his arm, disconnecting her arm from his on a mission to find her friends. She turned her head shooting Dusty a small smile and wave, which he returned before watching her brother and Spider practically climb on the boy. She made her way around the basketball court before spotting the neon pink durag and the ginger girl. Quinni's eyes met her eyes running full speed towards the girl gulping her body in a tight bear hug.

"Seraphine! We didn't know if you'd show! I missed you how was your morning?" Sera smiled brightly and gave the smaller girl a soft smile squeezing her hand tightly in her swinging their intertwined fingers as they made their way to the third party of their group. "It was surprisingly nice Quinni thank you for asking my sweet." To anyone else, Quinni and her looked like a perfect lesbian couple but the two knew they shared a sisterly bond and they were content with that. ''And who gave you those tits over summer?" She lifted her head wrapping her arms around Darren's waist, they pulled back looking Sera up and down as she gave them a 360. "My sugar daddy paid for them, you like?" Darren rolled their eyes lightly pushing her shoulder. She let out a small laugh "Nah puberty just decided to steer her way to my boobs." It did appear the girl got a boob job her small double B's going to C's in just a short couple weeks. But she felt confident in her body, and it wasn't going unnoticed by a couple of stares going her way. Seraphine, Darren and Quinni enjoyed the small talk on their holidays before a body rammed between the group making Sera stumble, grasping her bag tightly with one hand and the other gripping Quinnis shoulder holding her in place.

"Dusty spoke to me!" Amerie shrieked, her voice echoing in the air like a banshee's cry. She rolled her eyes not seeing the appeal. Darren gave out a fake moan turning her attention toward them ''Ughhh, Dusty spoke to me. What a pick-me bitch. Also rude" She faced the ginger to fix Quinnis hair. "Maybe she just didn't see us?" Quinni softly spoke looking towards Darren. She let out a scoff "Please, look at us honey, we're exquisite jellyfish of course she saw us" Linking her arms through theirs the three made their way towards the school.

"Oi! There's a fully-gacked sex map in the old stairwell!"
