It had been a week and Seraphine was beyond confused. After making up with Harper and the rest of her friends, and even with Spider, she thought maybe life had gone back to normal and it was all sunshine and rainbows. But oh how naive she was.
Spider had been avoiding her all week he wouldn't even look at the girl and she was beyond over the games he was playing. Seraphine sat by herself in the library skimming over the words of Macbeth, the required reading for her literature class. However, the loud ruckus of the blonde boy and his friends was more than distracting. She grumbled muttering incoherently to herself silently plotting ways to hurt the boy seriously.
"God Sera, if looks could kill I'd say Spider would be 8 feet below" Darren snickered glancing between the two and taking a seat beside her. Seraphine groaned already annoyed, she slammed her book closed causing Darren to jump a little as she slid it halfway across the desk. "I just don't get him" She followed her arms, rolling her head back in frustration "I mean we hooked up at camp, we've been like super flirty and kissing but now he's just ghosted me out of nowhere." Sera looked up and saw Missy enter the library walking past Spider, she noticed the way Missy gave him an overly friendly smile and the way his eyes lingered on her a little too long. Darren scoffed rolling their eyes, "Missy is totally after your man!" Sera threw her hand over Darren's mouth stopping them from squealing and embarrassing her further, "thank you, Darren, what should I do about it? I mean, it's stupid but I really fucking like Spider and I want us to work." Darren raised an eyebrow taking the girl's hand from their face and holding it softly, they had a devious glint in their eyes, "I got a plan, but you won't like it."

"This is so stupid!" Sera turned to Darren in their car, she pulled the oversized coat closed hugging it tightly to her body. Darren just rolled their eyes tilting Seraphine's face to theirs, they touched up her eyeliner and ruffled her hair a bit to make it look slightly messy, "Seraphine you are a hot bitch. Missy has nothing on you, and Spider needs to see you are not just a doormat." Darren placed their hands on her shoulders giving them a gracious squeeze. Sera nodded taking in a deep breath. "I am a hot bitch" Sera said before picking up her bag and opening the car door. "you got this girl" Darren cheered as Seraphine shut the door taking shaky steps to Spiders' front door. She raised her hand knocking slowly and anxiously, "Seraphine you are a hot bitch."
