Sera entered her house shutting the front door behind her, Ant and her mum had gone to the doctor to check him over for any serious injuries or a concussion. She would've spent this time with her friends but they were all up to something, she should've texted Spider first but the pair were walking on eggshells with one another at the moment. Sera walked up the stairs to her bedroom, before even taking her shoes or anything off she slumped face down in her pillows groaning into them.

This term was meant to be easy, new friends, a boyfriend, she even quit vaping as well and her family was getting along. Sera's mental health had gotten significantly better as well, of course, it wasn't perfect, she'd been a month clean and was proud of herself. she turned her head looking at her floor-length mirror, standing slowly she approached it plucking the ink polaroid from the corner of it. She ran her hands over it staring at the photo, she took it on the first date Spider took her on. He'd taken her to a museum knowing how much she adored art and literature, he was kissing her cheek, and the faint pink hue decorated her cheeks in the photo being a fresh couple and all. She missed this Spider, he was caring and loving, not angry and on a short fuse like now.

S bby:

hey after your gym sesh can you come over?

Daddy long legs:

yeah course, everything alright?

Sera didn't bother responding before turning her phone off and setting the photo down on her desk. She got changed into something comfier than her denim mini skirt and taking a seat on the edge of her bed, she fiddled with her bracelet anxiously, her heartbeat quickening, she crossed her legs taking in deep breaths and waiting for Spider.

4:09 pm

Seraphine got knocked from her thoughts by the knock at the door, she had migrated to the living room deciding to watch a movie to pass the time. She paused the film and set the remote on the coffee table and took slow steps towards the front door, she ghosted her hand over the doorknob before turning it slowly and opening it. Spider stood with a small smile, she took in his appearance, tossed hair and flushed cheeks from no doubt the session he had. Sera returned the small smile before moving out of the way to let him in, Spider pressed a short peck to her lips before walking to the living room.

Spider spread himself out on the couch huffing out of exhaustion, Sera shut the door took a deep inhale and walked to him. he smiled brightly at her as she sat crossed-legged next to him, "Congrats by the way, you looked so hot out on that field today" he seductively smirked at her placing a hand on her upper thigh and leaning forward. Before he could go any further Sera leaned back, taking the hand from her thigh and holding it. she ran her thumb over his rough knuckles, Spider looked at her worriedly "Angel? Is everything alright?" he used his other hand to brush a strand of her eyes, he held his hand at the nape of her neck scanning over her features.

"We need to talk Spider" Sera grabbed the hand holding her neck setting his hands down in her lap, she took a deep breath lifting her head to meet his electric blue eyes. He wore a blank expression, "it's about this CUMLORDS shit.." she trailed off waiting for a reaction. Spider's face twisted into annoyance taking his hands from hers and crossing his arms, "Yeah? what about it?" Sera scoffed "This" she gestured to all of him, "this is what it's about. you aren't you Spencer, your attitude is just worse than it was before. I thought you were trying-" He snapped his head to her "I am trying Seraphine!" he yelled at her, she jumped in her position but wasn't backing down if they'd have to argue to resolve this, so be it.

"No Spencer, you're not" She inhaled deeply, her nostrils flaring, "You were fine over the holidays, even last term you were better than this. All you've done this term is insult my friends more than before, start a misogynistic club as well as treat me like shit by ignoring me and not showing me an ounce of affection." Sera looked all over his face, and he just stayed silent "I don't know what has gotten into you but, you're not the same boy I fell in love with."

Spider rolled his eyes his arms flexing as he crossed his arms even tighter, "maybe I'm sick of your shit Seraphine" he hissed at her, all she did was nod slowly. "Fine, you know what Spencer. I don't need this shit anymore. I don't even know you, we are done." Spider stiffened looking at her, she had no emotion and just wore a blank expression. Her eyes were dark and glossed over but Sera didn't let tears fall. She was tired of wasting her energy on him. Spider just nodded snatching his bag off the floor, "Fine by me." Without another word he stormed out of the house, slamming the front door behind him.

Sera sulked in her seat, those tears finally pouring hot and fast, she choked on the tears struggling for air. She clutched her chest feeling the air fading from around her, She stood trying to find the nearest bathroom, all she could do was stand on shaky legs before kneeling on the floor and doubling over in pain. She tried her hardest to slow her breathing to look for anything but she was home alone with no one to help.

As if on cue Ant had gotten back from the doctors, "Sera, I'm home. Mum just ran to the shops!" He stood at the front kicking off his dirty boots before walking further inside. he could hear soft pants and Sera mumbling incoherently. Ant rushed to the living room seeing his sister curled in a ball sobbing uncontrollably, "Seraphine? What happened? Are you hurt?" Ant dropped to her side, his injuries forgotten as he looked her over frantically checking for any of her own injuries. Sera just kept shedding tear after tear not being able to find her voice. Ant scooped her up to hold her tightly against his chest. "It's ok Sera, I got you now. It'll be ok" She held his hoodie tightly and just wept in his arms.
