Spider reluctantly made his way to Seraphine's locker, she'd not spoken a word to him since his outburst in SLT class. He knew she was unhappy with him. he wouldn't say it out loud but the silence from his girlfriend was killing him inside, every glance or unsaid word felt like a dagger to his heart. The girl had Spider wrapped around her pinky and he was still unsure how to feel about it.

Spider leaned against the locker next to hers, she slammed it shut not even sparing a glance at him and began walking away. "Come on Angel!" Spider rushed after her stopping in front of her halting her steps. "Ants waiting for me" she circled him but he wouldn't let her walk off without a fight. "Seraphine" he grabbed her hand turning her to face him, "look I'm sorry for how I went about my, outburst" She rolled her eyes breaking away from his hold and walking off. Spider followed catching up to her quickly, "you told me you'd try harder this term Spencer" Sera questioned looking up at him with hurt in her eyes. He nodded intertwining their hands as they walked to Ant's car. "And I'm trying, but that class is ridiculous!" she sighed, she was too exhausted from the first day. "Look, it's the first day we're both tired, I don't want to fight. let's just let this go and give it another go tomorrow yeah?" Sera replied looking up to her boyfriend lovingly, he nodded leaning down and placing a soft kiss on her lips. "I love you, yeah?" Spider said smiling at her, she smiled pushing him away "Yeah love you to loser" Spider wrapped his arm over her shoulder as they walked to Ant.

7:55 pm

Ant, Seraphine and Spider entered the bunkers, it wasn't even in full swing but the drinks were being poured and the music was pounding. Sera swung her and Spider's hand taking hits of her vape and looking around for her friends. Sera spotted her friends and noticed Amerie marching straight up to the three, eyes locked on Spider, "You did it, right? You're Bird Psycho." Sera looked as confused as ever, "Bird Psycho?" she questioned looking between everyone, Spider sighed shaking his head. "Here we go. Or maybe I'm just not the only one who thinks that Harper's a witch. Enjoy the party, Cheezel breath." Spider took a swig off his beer storming off, Sera contemplated following but wanted to stay with her friends, this bird Psycho had gained her interest. "That dead shIt is def Bird Psycho." Amerie nodded. Sera just shook her head, "Nah, he's scared of birds." Ant nodded adding how Spider couldn't even touch one. "Oh, come off it." Sera looked questioningly at Darren covering their nose, Ant then replied, "It's true. When we were kids, he got swooped by a swoopy boy magpie. Took a chunk out of his neck." Sera nodded swigging her beer shuddering at the awful memory. "Bloke's got like a full phobia now. Birdaphobia, I believe." Amerie scoffed, "As if" Ant just shrugged walking off. Sera looked between her friend with knitted brows "So. what's Bird Psycho?"

After being filled in on the mystery of the Bird Psycho, Sera walked around with Amerie and Quinni. "Ew Quinni! please tell me you didn't keep that bird" Sera gagged covering her nose, "I wanted it to have a proper burial" the smaller girl argued. Sera shook her head holding her nose tightly to stop the foul smell of the dead bird. Sera followed behind Amerie and Quinni as they made their way around the party "Ant's clearly just lying to cover for his mate." Sera shook her head "Ants a terrible liar" she said nasally. "Harper's terrified If we can prove for sure it's just something dumb that Spider did, she won't be so freaked out." Amerie spun to face her friends, "Maybe Spider didn't do it Am" Sera said cautiously trying to defend her boyfriend. Amerie just waved her off as the light bulb went off in her head. "I've got an idea"

"Oi! Skidmark!" Amerie stormed up the stairs on a war path to Spider, "Heard you're afraid of birds." Spider looked up lazily from his goon bag before his eyes landed on the ibis in Amerie's hand "The fuck is that?" he stood abruptly but wasn't fast enough for Amerie, she shoved the dead bird in his face, Spider fell to the ground in his attempt to get Amerie away. "fuck! Get away from me." Spider scrambled on the ground but Amerie got on top of him shoving the dead bird in his face. Sera stood frozen just looking between Amerie, Spider and the bird. "Check his neck!" Quinni rushed forward looking for the scar on his neck, "He has got a scar there. And a bruise?" Quinni looked up with a quirked eyebrow. Amerie, Quinni and Ant faced Sera who turned bright red. "ok get over yourselves, and Amerie get off my boyfriend" Amerie climbed off him as Spider lay whimpering in fear. "Told ya! Swoopy boy phobia."

After the events of traumatising Spider, Amerie and Quinni had run off. Sera leaned down to Spider who was on the verge of tears, "Baby? Are you ready to go home?" Sera asked helping him sit up. All Spider could do was nod as Seraphine helped him stand up. She looked for Ant but assumed he either left or was talking to someone. She helped Spider into the Uber as they headed back to her place.

Once through the front door, Sera held Spider's hand tightly as they made their way up the stairs, Sera checked Ant's room seeing him passed out face down in his bed. Sera rolled her eyes smiling as she and Spider walked into her room. "I'm sorry about Amerie, I had no idea she was gonna do that." Sera stood in front of her wardrobe discarding her tight mini dress and changing into her pj shorts and one of Spider's oversized t-shirts. Spider lay on the bed kicking his shoes off, "Your friends are assholes for that" he stared up at the roof with a blank expression, Sera rolled her eyes looking at him over her shoulder. "she didn't mean harm" Sera sat on the edge of her bed taking off her makeup. Spider shrugged before removing his jacket and top and getting under the covers. Sera huffed getting under the covers with him and laying on his chest. "Can we not argue? my friends did a dumb thing and they didn't know. I didn't know" Spider looked down at her his posture was stiff but when Ser gave him her best puppy eyes he couldn't resist her. Wrapping both his arms around her Spider kissed her forehead smiling "Yeah I know Angel" it's all good yeah?" she nodded enthusiastically laying down and drifting to sleep.
