25. Cat is out of the box

3rd person POV

They had all fallen asleep on hospital chair when they heard people rushing arround. It was 4 o'clock in the morning. Everyone jolted awake and tried to decipher the situation at hand. One of the doctor sweating profusely was trying his best to say something to the older doctor. But the two men with dark aura were making him too nervous. Matteo went directly to the doctor and took tight hold of his collar

"Tell me what the f**ck is going on now" he asked the doctor.

The older doctor came to his rescue and calmly informed "patient of this ward is no where to be seen. We only noticed it now when this doctor came in to check her vitals, so please let him go"

Matteo pushed the doctor aside as he he weighed nothing and marched inside. Room was empty, window was wide open. He looked out the window and called in his PI for information.

Ian already started to hack into security cameras around. He got in within seconds. He looked at the footage of the hallway and there was nothing unusual. He then checked the back gate of the hospital knowing the girl he is dealing with. His suspicion was correct she was limping around the back gate and walking away from hospital.

He bolt up and ran towards his car. Matteo saw Ian running and knew exactly this man could find her anywhere in the world so he followed behind.

Twins didn't know what to do. Ryan looked at Nathan and asked him to dial his father's number. Nathan obliged and dialed his father.

"Nate, what's wrong? Why are you calling at this hour? Is everything okay there?

"Dad we need an help from you. We can't find Liarah"

After a short pause their father replied " What do you mean you can't find her?"

"We got her into hospital, she was unconscious at home and now when we got up she is not here, even doctors dont know where she went"

"You will tell me everything that has happened when we weren't there the minute you get back to farm house, but now we have much bigger problem. And I think I know where she could be. I'll forward the address and as soon as you are done finding her, you will leave her at her old house and come straight back here. I think it's better to leave her alone for time being"

Twins got the address and it was of a graveyard and of a city next to theirs. They both didn't waste time and raced towards the grave.

Twins reached the graveyard first and entered the gate when the two fancy cars reached the gate as well. Both professor and Matteo jumped out of the car and raced inside the graveyard. Professor was disappointed to see that the twins were the first ones to reach this destination but he didn't have time to dwell about it. Twins were yet to find out who the other imposing man was and what was his relation with Liarah and professor. They were also unsure about the this intense interest that professor has been showing Liarah.

Matteo's POV

I hate to admit but the man infront of me was different breed then anyone in this world. Even though disappointment was clearly be seen on his face for reaching after those 2 boys, he was a genius. There is no doubt about it. My useless PI is still probably searching near hospital for Calypso or may I say 'Celena Rose Saviano'. I smile not believing my luck this year. I first found who Calypso is and now when I was plotting to somehow find Russian princess and take her out of my way, she presented herself to me. I guess I will have to thank my father for setting up my marriage. I can't wait to inform him and Roberto.

I physically shake myself from day dreaming and run to enter what seems like a graveyard. I see others searching every corner of the grave. Without wasting time I join in searching for my queen. Being a tall man I spot a beautiful grave that was surrounded with red and white roses. And roses reminds me of Calypso.

I walked towards the grave and to my surprise there she was sleeping on top of a grave with her hospital gown and an army uniform jacket. She looked cold. I removed the jacket that luckily had been inside of my car and placed it on top of her exposed feet.

She looked like a goddess with her eyes closed sleeping serenely on a black marble. Her legs touching the rose plants and creating a illusion that her rose vine tattoo is actually part of this small garden around the grave. It looked as if the rose vine started from the ground and climbed on to her leg twisting and winding up on most of her body flowering most beautiful roses I have ever seen.

Mentally I make plans on planting rose garden all around the mansion. I'm sure my fiance would enjoy them very well. I don't remember the last time I was this happy in my life. I'm engaged to the women of my dream. 

Ian Kingsley POV

I can't believe those boys reached before me. I know for a fact that Ryan would never get this adress through hacking street cameras. Probably he already knew she would be here.

I jump out of the car and start searching for Liarah. I spot Matteo rooted to a spot seemed spaced out looking at a grave. Not wasting any more time I dash towards the grave. There she is, sleeping like an angel. She is truly an angel. I'm embarrassed to admit but I have wondered about the archangel itched onto her body far more than I should think about a student. I wonder what was the story behind it. Now I want to know every little details about ink adorning her body. The roses, the string and the number and everything else.  She looks serene and I'm so mesmerized by the calm expression she has now that I have never seen in her face.

It should be illegal to look this beautiful and deadly. Not wanting to disturb her sleep I settle at the bottom of the grave and Matteo follows my lead and sits down.

3rd person POV

By the time twins reached the grave other two had settled down at the feet of the grave not wanting to wake her up. They too settled next to them silently.

Now that everyone had time to settle down, they began to notice the grave headstone.

Here lies the brave officer, who sacrificed his own life to save many.

Lieutenant Parker James.

“I keep in my heart the love of the past, for there it was planted forever to last.”

It was only then twins and professor realised something. Parker James, The boy in her photos, the boy who had held her tenderly in all her photos, he died on her 18th birthday.

Matteo was the only man who had no clue who Parker James was, but others knew he was an important part of her life. Matteo too understood this man on the grave must mean something deep to her.

It was 8 o'clock when she finally stirred awake and then sat up close to the headstone. Unaware of her surroundings she looked at the smiling photo of her love and smiled at him, gently pecking a kiss on the photo she wished him "Good morning PJ, I had nice sleep" she closed her eyes and took a long breath and whispered "I love you" which was barely audible.

Cold morning breeze passed by her, only then she felt an extra clothing on her body. She turned to see what it was and jerked when she saw 4 of the people who were staring at her intently. Her expression changed from serene to deadly in seconds.

Ryan quickly handed her the dress and says "Dad told us to look here and he also asked us to take you home" he didn't tell her which home because of the two other creeps. She nodded and took the cloth bag. She dropped the jacket that was placed on her legs and hurried to the wash room near the gaurd station.

Matteo attempted to follow her but Ian stopped him. "you and I need to talk" he says to Matteo.

Matteo was frustrated but knew this talk was necessary. He glanced at fleeting figure and she looked healthy enough so he went with Ian.

Twins wanted to ask about professor and other guy's relationship with Liarah but decided not to, as it was too early for anything. They first had to leave her at her old house and get everything necessary for 1-2 days and had to go to farm house. They didn't want to leave Liarah alone but knew she would hate them if they stayed. It was Parker's death anniversary and she had to mourn without someone else being in her comfort zone.

Reluctantly twins left the house to their grandparents farm house. Matteo and Ian left to Ian's house. Liarah was alone with grief and revenge that turned brighter than sun. It was bit sooner than what she planned but now she got a golden opportunity and she will utilise it wisely.
