Note (from ao3): Ok so, im saying it now

This chapter is the one that contained THAT scene one the original
BUT
Since I hated that scene (I hate how it turned out, don't listen to the notes if you read it) I decided to delete that scene and kind of censure everything that I could, and that in the whole fic, so yes, this is not the only chapter to get a censure

But, anyway, I hope you can still like the chapter! (Even if it's short)

Enjoy!

It was technically Norman's first time at a bar. He was never a fan of alcohol, but he didn't mind a glass or two from time to time. It also depends on the alcohol of course.

Emma was doing most of the talking, but he didn't mind. He liked to hear her talk like that.

« I need some advice. For a friend. »

« What is it? »

Emma took a sip of her drink before looking at him.

« Ok, so. My friend is in a weird position right now. She has a boyfriend that she loves a lot, she really does. But then there's this other guy she's really close with. She thinks she might be feeling something for him since she doesn't feel... in love with her current boyfriend anymore. She doesn't know how to feel. She's lost and needs help but she's scared to ask for help directly. »

Norman looked at her for a moment, taking a sip of his drink before looking back at her. Oh no. Does he know she's not talking about a friend but herself?!

« So, this friend of yours has a boyfriend that she loves more than anything. »

« Yes. »

« And then, she has a best friend with whom she's really close with. »

« Yes. »

« Spending some time with her best friend made her realize that she might not be in love with her current boyfriend anymore. »

« That's what I said. »

« But she still loves her boyfriend and doesn't want to leave him. »

« Uhun. »

« But she loves her best friend. »

« Kind of. »

« And she doesn't know what to do anymore since she doesn't know herself what she's feeling and who she really loves. Did I get that right? »

« Yes, you did. »

Norman nodded, thinking. Emma stared at him, waiting for his answer as she drank from her drink. He looked so cute when he was lost in his thoughts like that. Emma took another sip from her drink to get rid of this thought. Stupid brain.

« I don't really know what to tell her. If she's feeling good and comfortable with her best friend and not with her boyfriend anymore, I think she should leave him. »

« You really think so? »

Norman nodded.

« She can give herself some time and, if both of them have the same feelings for each other, she can go out with her best friend. If that's what she really wants, of course. »

Lost in her thoughts, Emma nodded. She really didn't know what to do. Norman's advice helped her a little, but not that much.

« I have a friend who has a problem similar to your friend. »
