Emma's nausea only worsened. She would have morning sickness every time she would wake up. Some foods she would normally eat without problems were making her sick now. She was a lot more sensible than before. She hated that!Curt didn't know either what was happening to her. She didn't seem sick. He told her she should go see a doctor to see what it is that she has.
And that's what she did.
Emma didn't want to go see any doctors. She went to see Anna. She knew the bunny wasn't working today, but she really wanted to see her and no one else.
Taking a deep breath, Emma knocked on the door. To her luck, Anna was the one to answer her.
« Emma! What brings you here today? »
« Hi, Anna! I... had something to ask you. »
The bunny tilted her head as she let the cheetah enter.
« What is it? »
Emma looked around and saw Ray and Revna sitting on the couch looking at them. She waved at them before looking back at Anna. Revna had let out a happy squeal while waving to her auntie.
« Hum, can I talk to you alone though? »
« Of course. Come. »
Emma followed Anna to the girl's bedroom, not noticing the worried gaze Ray had.
After closing the door, Anna turned around to look at Emma.
« So? What do you want to ask me? If it's about Norman, we don't know where he is. »
Emma felt a bit sad at that information. She wasn't there for this, though.
« Oh... thanks for telling me. I wasn't there for that. Actually. »
« What is it, then? »
Emma bit her lip before explaining how she had been feeling for a few weeks now. She saw Anna's eyes widened a little before a serious expression came to her face.
« I think I know what you could have, but I just want to make sure. Is Curt home? »
« Hum, no. He's working today and I think he will leave for another business trip today, if I remember correctly. Why? »
« Perfect. We'll go to your house if you don't want anyone to know. Come on. »
Anna took her jacket and her keys and both girls left.
The bunny confused Emma when she stopped at a pharmacy.
« I just need to go buy something first. »
^____^
Once at Emma's house, as soon as the door was closed and locked, Anna rushed Emma to the bathroom, giving her the small box she had just bought. The blonde girl told her what to do and to call for her if there were any problems.
Emma did as Anna told her. She waited a bit for the results before opening the door. She doesn't remember a moment where she was this stressed out about something. And it was about a stick! A freaking stick!!! Stuck that would tell her how her life would be for the next couple of years.
She was frowning at the stick in her hand as Anna was waiting for the results.
« Anna? What do the two lines mean already? »
Hearing nothing from the bunny, Emma raises her gaze from the stick before turning her head completely to look at the blonde girl. Anna's eyes were wide open as a smile slowly appeared on her lips.
