Emma had helped Norman to settle in his new home with her. The cheetah was excited about this new life that would start for the both of them. It hadn't been long for him to get fully settled since he didn't have much stuff with him.
When he was fully settled, Norman noticed Emma's house was close to his workplace. Emma was just happy to have him back with her. James was cheering everytime his father would come close to him or take him in his arms. It was hard to separate the little boy from his father.
They were on their way to Ray and Anna's house. They still hadn't gone to see them since Norman wanted to be fully settled before going. And also because they wanted to spend some time together before going to see the others. Now that he was fully settled, they were going.
Norman was holding James in his arms while Emma knocked on the door. Ray was the one to open. He couldn't see Norman from where he was.
« Hey, Emma. »
« Hi, Ray! »
« James isn't with you? »
Ray knew how hard it was to separate the cheetah from her son. Emma let out a chuckle.
« He's here, don't worry. Can we come inside? »
« Of course. »
Ray didn't really know who she was talking about when she said "we". He looked at Emma enter before looking at who was following her.
« Uncle! »
Ray's eyes widened when they landed on the young man that was holding James.
« Hey, Ray. »
« Norman... »
Careful of the small boy in his arms, the wolf went to hug his brother. After backing away from the hug, Ray never let go of his brother's shoulders.
« Where were you, god damnit! I was worried about you! Everyone was! »
After a chuckle and with James happily cooing and laughing, Norman then explained to his brother everything that happened over the last two years.
« Wow... I'm so happy for you, Norman. »
« Thanks, Ray. I told you that I could take care of myself. »
Ray let out a scoff.
« Yeah, right. Just, don't do that ever again, idiot. »
Norman let out a chuckle.
« I don't have any intention to do it again, don't worry. »
« Good. Because if you do it again, you're just an idiot. »
The goat let out a chuckle.
« I know. »

James was asleep in his bed in Emma's, and now Norman's too, bedroom. The new couple were sitting on the couch, watching TV. The cheetah was cuddling against the goat.
Emma suddenly raised her head once she remembered something. Norman arched an eyebrow.
« I forgot to tell you. My dads are coming tomorrow. They like to come check on me and James from time to time. »
« I'll be able to meet him for real then. But, dads? I didn't know you had two. »
« You already met him and yes, I've got two dads. I have a brother too. I forgot to tell you about that. »
« Yeah, when we were eleven. I almost never talked to him back then. I only saw him from afar. And, that's okay. »
The cheetah let out a chuckle as she snuggle closer to the goat's neck.
