17 - The Kingdom Of Fire

Heeseung smiled as he stared at Jaeyun who let out the biggest smile he ever saw as the royal family of fires was waiting for them at the entrance. Heeseung had his hands on the younger's waist as they both walked with the soldiers surrounding them. As they neared the royal family they quickly bowed their heads in respect to the elders.

"Greetings Your majesties" The couple spoke together and raised their heads up only to experience a warm embrace surrounding them. "It's just been like two months and I missed your presence so much" The queen spoke as she let heeseung pull out of the hug who was greeting the king. Jaeyun snuggled closer to his mother loving the warmth.

Oh how much he missed this. he hugged the lady closer while feeling his body shrink in her embrace. No matter how elder you get mother's embrace is still the best. "I missed you a lot mother" Jaeyun spoke in a tiny voice while smiling a bit as he felt the woman's hand ruffling his hair softly.

"It was so lonely and silent without you here our young prince" She spoke and pulled out a bit taking a good look at her son. She smiled as she noticed and looked at heeseung. "Seems like you are taking great care of jaeyun crown prince, he looks healthier then he used to be here" She commented and Heeseung smiled a little feeling a bit proud at the compliment.

"It's my duty to take care of my prince your highness, he's not picky and is too sweet which makes it easier to look after him" He looked at his husband who was busy talking with his brothers while being completely oblivious about thr talk between the crown prince of water and his mother. "I'm glad to know that, he always has been like this but I want him to be a little spoiled too" She smiled as she saw how fondly heeseung gazed at her son.

"I'll love to spoil him" Heeseung replied with a smile and the queen nodded in approval.

"I missed you so much" Crown prince of fire spoke as he hugged his brother tightly ignoring the complaints thrown by The youngest prince who was protesting as he wanted to hug his elded brother too. "Why? Don't you hate me? " Jaeyun joked as he hugged the elder back not able to hide his smile.

"No I'm proud of you Jaeyun-ah, we are so proud of you" Jay spoke and it brought a big smile on the prince's smile. "Alright alright now let Riki hug hyung too" Jungwon interrupted as he clearly noticed how sulky Riki seemed to be. Jay rolled his eyes and let his brother go, immediately pulling his husband in a hug making Jungwon blush a little. "not infront of everyone love" Jungwon spoke and the elder rolled his eyes before letting his husband go who had pink dust around His cheeks.

The royals entered the palace and finished a great dinner with everyone together after a while. Now the whole family went go their respective rooms and places they had to be.

Everyone in the Royal Family were now really tired. The arrived couple because of all the traveling and the royals of fire because of how busy and tasks there were before the ceremony of the crown prince.

Heeseung sighed as he looked around his husband's room more closely now. The last time he visited was when they weren't married and heeseung can notice how well the room was taken care off. There wasn't a single dust on the furniture and the bedsheets and every table cloth and carpet was replaced to a new one. The royals must have taken care of the rooms on daily bases.

He looked around and came across a drawer next to the bed. A spark of interest interrupted him as he couldn't help but feel himself getting attracted to the drawer. He bite his lips while looking around.

He couldn't hold himself back anymore and forwarded his hands forward to take a look on what's inside. He slowly opened the drawer and saw a very pretty box kept there. Okay this only increased his curiosity. What could be in a such a Beautifully decorated box ?
