„Where do you work?" Joshua asked when we were out of college.
„The convenience store over there." I said.
„Let me come with you ." I looked at him suspiciously.
„What do you mean? I can go by myself. What do you want there?"
„Who said I am going because of you?"
„So why are you going?"
„Sora often visits there." I laughed.
„What are you a stalker?"
„I am not what do you mean?"

„Nothing. Follow me then." I said and he did.
„But I never saw her there?" I said.
„You just never noticed before. You are more interested in her now because you know I like her." he said and I nodded.
„That makes sense."

„I am here." I said to my coworker who had a bright smile on her face because she can go home.
„She isn't here." I said to Joshua after looking around.
„It's ok I will just wait for a while." he said.
„Sure you can sit down over there."
„Yeah I will study a little bit."

While I was doing my job he sat there studying with his AirPods in his ears.
„He is doing nothing but studying but still looks good." I continued mopping the floor.

„Excuse me I would like to pay."
„I am on my way." it was quite busy the whole afternoon. It was already dark outside and when it finally got a little bit quieter I looked over and saw Joshua still sitting there.
„He is still here?" he didn't eat anything since he is here he must be hungry.
„Things you do for love..." I shook my head. I could never do that. I got some ramen and other snacks for him.

„Here eat something you lovesick puppy."
„I was actually getting hungry." he said putting away his AirPods.
I sat down next to him.
„You have been waiting forever. She isn't coming today so go home."
„Yeah I guess I will after I am done eating." he said and had a big bite.
„When are you over with your shift?"
„Now that you mention it. I have half an hour left."
„That was fast?"
„I got a text earlier from a coworker if we can change the shift. So that's it for today."

„Thats great let's leave together then. I will send you home."
„You don't have to."
„It's ok. It's dark outside."
„Stop acting so nice." I said.
„I am not acting and I am sure you know that too."
„Yes yes I know. Now eat up I will clean the other tables meanwhile."

I was done with everything and my coworker arrived. I got my things and looked at Joshua.
„Let's go." I said to him and in that moment Sora entered.
„Oh..." was all that came out of me. I looked at these two looking at each other.
I felt like a third wheel and wanted to leave but suddenly Joshua grabbed my arm and I was startled.

„Wait for me why are you going on your own?" He said.
„But-„ he dragged me along before I could say something.
„Are you crazy? You waited so long for her and now that she is here you just leave?"
„It's ok."
„No it's not! It was the perfect chance to take her home." I said getting frustrated.
„Even if it was the perfect chance I wouldn't do it. I promised you to bring you home so I can't just leave." he said and my heart was beating fast again. Now I didn't even have the excuse to say that it's because of the sun because my cheeks were burning but the night was cold.

„J-just because of that? I could have gone home alone. You could have spent time with her now you lost your chance."
„As I said it's ok. I promised it to you so I won't just leave you alone . After all you are on your own and she was with her friends so it's ok."
„I can't understand you Hong Jisoo."
„Oh you know my korean name?"
„N-no I don't." I said and walked away.
„You do. Where did you hear it from? That means you are interested in me." he teased me while I tried to walk away from him faster.
„I am not interested in you go away you idiot!"

He kept teasing me and we also laughed a lot. Actually I am quite happy that he decided to come with me...
